I Hate to chop veggies, especially onions. This lil food chopper is fantastic. Great price, easy to use and clean, and doesn't come with a million useless pieces. The chopping inserts are super easy to change out and they stay put. Fine or coarse diced is plenty enough options for me. Dishwasher durable (although I handwash mine). Would recommend and purchase again.

I hate slicing veggies, I am more of buying them already sliced. So, this vegetable chopper is making my cooking process way easier. It is a very good size container. Very spacious, you can actually chop a lot of veggies before it gets full. It is made of what it seems to be a durable plastic, and the stainless steel blades look decent. They come in with two different blades, for either medium or small slicing. It is very easy to change the blades between one and the other one. I find it not so hard to clean, it comes with the brush and a scrapper that are very useful. I tried chopping different vegetables and fruits. I tried with a tomato, onion, pepper and apple and kiwi. It doesn't cut as smooth as I would like it to, and with the peppers was kind of difficult, i thought it was going to break at some point, which is my main reason to remove a star, but it comes for an affordable price and does a very decent job. It is definitely an improvement to me, and I am going to keep on using it. It is better than buying the vegetables already chopped, this way I can make sure how fresh they are, and is way better than slicing them myself, which is something i dislike a lot.

This food chopper/mandolin slicer is a great time saver! I just diced two onions in 3 minutes or less! I love this little powerhouse! I read that some folks were concerned about how sturdy it is and how long it would last. let me tell you, It's the least expensive one on Amazon and at $16 it's the best bargain for one of these. If it only lasts a year, it's inexpensive enough not to be a big concern. It's definitely worth the money. Great value, great tool, very user friendly...definitely 5 stars. my only caution is that the blades are super sharp just as the sticker warning says...I tapped the small dice blade lightly and cut my finger just enough to bleed on the onion I was working with...didn't hurt or know it was cut till the onion juice got into it and then saw a little blood...ouch! LOL

I used every type of scrubber on this, but I could only use it a few times because it wouldn’t clean. It’s quite unfortunate because this chopper is awesome and saves a lot of time. No matter what I used to scrub it, or how long I soaked the chopping piece, little pieces of veggies would not come out of the crevices. I wish there was an easy way to clean this!

First time out we used it to dice an onion, and to chop cauliflower into small pieces. Works like a charm. The piece that presses through the screen can be popped out and comes with a little tool to clean out the channels. It’s a lot easier than chopping with a knife!

This is a miracle gadget. This cuts down prep time in the kitchen significantly. It is easy to use and easy to clean. I try to stay away from single use gadgets, however this is a must have for anyone that enjoys cooking.
