Rain wear poncho
Color: Green 4-pack
These poncho's are very well made and provide a comfortable fit. With a wool or insulated throw over your shoulders and this poncho on top makes for a nice warm closure. I have distributed these in my bug out bags, my truck and bug out packs. Light weight and of course can be used anywhere.

Practical Emergency Poncho With Solid Protection and Smart Design
Color: Green 4-pack
The PREPARED4X emergency poncho with Mylar blanket liner is a well-thought-out piece of emergency and outdoor gear that does a lot right, earning a solid four-star rating. It’s clearly designed for preparedness, not fashion, and it performs well in situations where staying dry and retaining heat actually matters. The waterproof and wind-resistant outer layer works as advertised. It does a good job of keeping rain off and blocking wind, which is critical during unexpected weather changes. As a poncho, it offers decent coverage and is easy to throw on quickly, even over a backpack or bulky clothing. The Mylar-lined interior is a nice upgrade over standard emergency ponchos. It helps reflect body heat and adds an extra layer of warmth, especially useful in cooler conditions or emergencies where exposure is a concern. It’s not a replacement for proper cold-weather gear, but for an emergency item, it adds meaningful insulation. Packability is another strong point. The poncho folds down small and lightweight, making it easy to keep in a backpack, vehicle, emergency kit, or go-bag. It doesn’t take up much space, which is exactly what you want for something that may not be used often but needs to be available when required. Durability is decent, but this is where it falls slightly short of five stars. While it holds up fine for emergency use and short-term wear, it doesn’t feel like something meant for repeated heavy-duty use. The material can feel a bit thin, and care is needed to avoid tearing if you’re moving through brush or rough terrain. Overall, this is a useful and smart emergency item that offers better protection than basic ponchos or standalone Mylar blankets. It’s waterproof, helps retain heat, and packs small, making it a strong addition to any emergency or outdoor kit. With a bit more durability, it would easily be a five-star product, but as it stands, it’s a reliable and practical four-star choice.

Survival Kit and/or First Aid Kit Must Have
Color: Orange
Protection from the weather and heat retention are often critical in emergency situations. The PREPARED4X Emergency Mylar Blankets use the reflectivity and waterproofness of Mylar to retain heat, prevent wind intrusion, and maintain dry conditions, AND fold small enough to fit within a survival pack or first aid kit. The orange exterior color is also helpful when one wants to be seen, for example, during a situation where Search & Rescue may be called in or when one needs to be spotted from the air. The poncho-style design of these Emergency Mylar Blankets works for people (or animals) of all sizes, from kids to adults. If needed, two or more Blankets can be used for large adults, or the Blanket can be cut to size for a child. One will need a knife or scissors to cut the Blanket as the Mylar is thin, but quite strong.

Really useful and protects against elements
The emergency water poncho I recently purchased is a great addition to my outdoor gear collection. Not only is it designed to protect me from the rain, but it also helps to maintain my body temperature in case of an emergency. The poncho is made from high-quality materials that are both waterproof and breathable. It is designed to be lightweight and compact, so it can be easily carried in a backpack or other outdoor gear. The poncho also features a reflective lining that helps to retain body heat, which can be crucial in cold or wet conditions. One of the things I love about this poncho is that it is versatile enough to be used in a variety of situations. Whether I'm hiking in the mountains or camping in the woods, this poncho provides a reliable source of protection from the elements. And in case of an emergency, the reflective lining is a valuable feature that can help to keep me warm and safe. Overall, I would highly recommend this emergency water poncho to anyone looking for a reliable source of protection from the rain and other elements. The high-quality construction and reflective lining make it a versatile and effective choice for a variety of outdoor activities. If you're looking for a reliable and affordable emergency poncho that can also help to maintain your body temperature, this is definitely one to consider.

Durable & reusable
Very happy with our purchase. It is wide enough to fit with a backpack on, but the backpack makes it a bit short to cover your backside. It is a decent length when worn on its own. Great size to keep in your car, emergency pack or hiking backpack. It is durable and easy to refold and reuse. I would recommend this product.

A good thing to keep on hand

Updated review
Update: Opened one up to test it out just to be sure. The length is not what I had hoped overall, my hubby is 6'2 and with a hiking backpack on the back of this will only cover to about his bum, so if we were hiking and got caught in the rain this wouldn't keep his legs dry at all whatsoever. Also the sleeves are short, they only go to his elbows and not much longer on my arms either even though I'm a foot shorter. So maybe wouldn't keep us quite as dry & warm as I had hoped, still good for emergencies but deducting 2 stars for that. It's also kind of loud to wear when walking, I guess I shouldn't be surprised by that considering the material but it's something I hadn't thought about. Hopefully the company will decide to make them longer and with longer sleeves, or have a longer option available for purchase. Other ponchos I've used were longer with full sleeves and quiet, they didn't have the mylar but keeping dry is an important factor to staying warm. I've purchased other ponchos before but these ones are definitely the best and worth the money! Not only will they protect from rain/snow conditions, but because it's made with mylar it will also keep you warm! The mylar makes it extra durable as well while maintaining the lightweight portability needed for tossing in a hiking backpack or camping bag. It's also small enough to fit in a sling-bag or a large fanny pack. Haven't had the need to use one yet, but I feel very reassured knowing they are there should my family need them.
