I purchased this grease container in April 2024 and have been using it regularly since then, so I waited before leaving a review. After nearly two years of use, it’s quality has allowed it to hold up very well. I use it mainly for hot bacon grease and other cooking grease and it holds about 3-4 cups of grease. Even though it’s light weight, the container and strainer have gone through many wash cycles, including the dishwasher. There are also no grease stains, burn marks, or damage. The strainer still fits properly, and the lid continues to close securely. It’s also easy to grip in case your hands get messy and looks great sitting on the stove when not in use. Cleanup has been easy. Most of the grease wipes out quickly with a paper towel before washing, and regular dish soap removes any residue without much effort. The container has not warped or degraded despite repeated exposure to heat. Overall, this has proven to be a durable and practical kitchen item that performs well with real, repeated use. This thing is awesome for storing bacon grease. I pour it in while it’s still liquidy. I’ve had it for a year now and when I wash it, it still looks brand new. I like the red color- it looks nice on my countertop.

    • Great product for collecting grease
This sits on my counter and waits to be filled. I empty all my grease into it and when it’s full I stick it in the freezer over night and pop the grease out. I do wipe off the strainer on the top under the lid with a paper towel after I pour grease into it so it’s free of debris for the next use. Perfect for hot grease or oil you need to get rid of in the middle of cooking. It has a strainer that seems more useful if you were going to reuse the fat. I don’t. I dispose of all of it. So I have used it with and without the strainer

Works great to hold bacon or hamburger grease when cooking. After the grease solidifies it just a 'squeeze' to have the grease fall out in to the garbage can vs going down the drain. It cleans up easily. The strainer top is a nice feature to keep the grease or oil clean for reuse. Would recommend this to anyone who cooks. ... show more
