It smells exactly like Windex. No joke when I first used it I was surprised by the familiar smell but couldn’t figure out what it smelled like until I made the Windex connection lol. The smell does really throw me off and has the chemical smell which I really don’t like with face washes. That being said I’m a welder working in a refinery and it definitely does a good job getting the gunk off my face. I would also add that paring it up a good moisturizer would be beneficial as it does make my face feel a bit dry after a shower. It also works great pre shave to remove dead skin and prep the skin.

I'm no expert on skincare products and have only used facewashes from Khiel's mostly for the past decade. Over the years, I've become lazy and was not consistent at washing or moisturizing my face as I used to. The bottle of Khiel's would just sit there in the corner, and I'd use it only once a day when I take a shower at night. The change happened when an old friend visited from abroad and pointed out that my skin wasn't as vibrant as it used to be, and I've looked a lot older than my physical age, and it was that simple comments that motivated me to start taking better care of my skin. As the bottle of Khiel's is running low (I used the same container over a year), I've decided to try a new brand, and that's when I saw RUGGED & DAPPER at the very top of the results page. I didn't have many expectations regarding the face wash and ordered it from Amazon out of convenience. In summary, this product exceeded my expectation. Before using the product, my face was oily, and every time I rinse my face, I could feel tiny bumps on my forehead. Now a couple of weeks into using the products, I can feel my face a lot more smooth, and the small bumps are gone. I have to admit, I am also a lot more consistent at washing my face ever since I've received the product, and I followed its instruction by applying in a circular motion and at least three times a day: Morning, after the workout, and evening during the shower. I'm not sure if I'd achieve the same result with the Khiel's face wash, but I'm pretty sure the tiny bumps went away thanks to its scrub element. In conclusion, I used this product three times daily for the past couple of weeks; it has made my face smoother, the scrub did not cause any side effects, and it's probably helped me rid of the skin bumps. If you have a sudden realization that you need to start taking care of your face, I'd recommend starting with this item.

The wash leaves your skin feeling really refreshed and the exfoliation is gentle enough to not irritate your skin. I’ve already pre purchased my second bottle from how well the last 2 months went. 8 oz for the price may seem scary but it really does last awhile. Some reviews mentioned a smell but definitely minor (similar to windex) during the wash and the scent is completely gone after the rinse.

After trying multiple products, I had to say this one works incredibly well. My face feels clean without feeling dried out. My only complaint is the smell. I dislike the smell so much that I’m unsure if I will purchase again.
