I was so excited to have the shrimp finally arrive, I was all excited to see all 20 of them made the trip safely. I followed the transition to a "T". The shrimp survived to the tank, and I was all excited to see them moving around the tank. The shrimp had their hiding places, plenty of food supply, the water was perfectly balanced. I woke up the next morning, cup of coffee in hand I went to check on my fish and feed them, only to find out the shrimp were gone. I think my koi stacked down pretty good. But, aside from my koi having a great meal, the shrimp were a fair price, arrived when expected and were cool while they lasted, around 12 hours. ... show more

I am so impressed with this company. The shrimp are beautiful and the packaging was amazing. The shrimp were in a bag with a little mesh thing to give them something to hold onto. That bag was inside another bag ( I assume to help with leaks). That was then put inside a cooler box then in a shipping box. The poor shrimp were delayed in shipping so I thought they'd all be DOA. However, I was so happy to see most were just fine thanks to the care Seam Oasis put into packaging. We sadly did loose a few but we still have 17 healthy beautiful shrimp! The media could not be loaded. The seller advertised these as premium HIGH-GRADE Fire Red Neocaridina Shrimp with opaque bodies, but the shrimp I received did not match the quality shown in the listing photos. The description is misleading. To the seller's credit, all 24 shrimp arrived alive. I drip-acclimated the shrimp my tank over a period of 4 hours. Water parameters were stable: NH3 0 / NO2 0 / NO3 10 / PH 7.6 / GH 8 / KH 4. Only 2 have died in the 48 hours since I've received them. However, the quality breakdown was very disappointing: • 3 shrimp were not red at all • 4 were very low-grade Sakura Reds, almost wild-type • 8 had a “racing stripe” pattern, which was neither advertised nor shown in the seller's images. Several have improved their color over the last 48 hours, but still have a stripe. • 6 were low-grade Fire Reds with semi-transparent bodies • Only 2 could be considered high-quality Fire Reds (nearly opaque) • Just 1 shrimp matched the listing’s promise of excellent quality—fully opaque Out of 24 shrimp, only one truly met the "premium high-grade" standard. This experience did not meet expectations based on the listing and photos. To make matters worse, they included a small piece of paper informing the buyer to reach out to them if there was a problem with their order, but there's no direct way to contact the seller through their Amazon store. The shrimp are beautiful. 8 out of the 10 were alive. It was extremely cold this week. The seller gave a partial refund, was very kind and communicated back very quickly. I would definitely use them again! 2nd time ordering 1 dead when arrived but a couple extra were in the bag! Thank you, loved all the variations of shrimp. ... show more

Shrimp were very well packaged with a styrofoam box to keep insulated. Came earlier than expected. Not one out of the twenty arrived dead and all were very lively.. though, the box was not labeled live. A couple even came carrying eggs and already hatched within the first night! Two had died within the first 24 hours but may have been due to stress from fish already in tank. Those two guppies had been donated to local pet store because they seemed to harass the shrimp often. Would definitely recommend this seller to another person! I saw a purchase review recently blaming the seller for dead shrimp and felt a need to comment. The shrimp spend days packaged in a box being transported from one facility to a truck, and then to another facility, ect. In this time period, if most of the shrimp survived this journey, I would say that they were pretty hardy. Within 24 hours, if most/all the shrimp end up dying within the tank, this is not the sellers fault. There is something wrong in their environment. ... show more

Pretty disappointed with my order. If the price is too good to be true then it probably is. These are NOT high grade shrimp at all. I didn't have a big order but I only received a single blue shrimp and not a single solid red shrimp. Most what I received were wild type, some basically no color at all and varying degrees of yellows/reddish hues. 15+ means You're given a very 'generous' single extra shrimp for a total of 16. The three largest and vibrant were DoA. The water smelled bad so I don't know how long they were dead in there and I was worried about the other shrimp since some were moving weird. I reached out and the company was quick to respond. They offered to put 2 extra shrimp on a replacement order but I don't see myself ordering again and not worth it. All of the living shrimp did survive the acclimation process but unfortunately had a few more die off a week later so I guess they couldn't handle the same parameters as the rest of my shrimp. :/ ... show more

My shrimp arrived 4 days early! They were all healthy and alive. I had a little extra one put in there which was nice. I was worried I would have a dead one. Nope. All alive and well. They are about an inch long. They are so cute. My first time ordering shrimp. I'm so happy it went well! They are night and they look strong!
