Fit perfectly onto my 2002 bmw z3 3.0 , looked into the company p-gear, they are very reputable, delivered promptly in a very nice box with excellent packaging, slipped right into place, everything lined up perfectly. Seriously this is one of the easiest DIY you can manage (just take off the air filter, slip 16mm socket onto the belt tensioner to slip the belt off, remove 16mm bolts too and bottom, then sensor and positive cable on back, leverage/pry the old alternator out, put new one in and hook everything back up). If you can't pull this one off yourself, you should be ashamed to call yourself man (or maybe you have low T) ... show more

Seems good quality, I've had it for 2 weeks. Spilled almost a gallon of coolant on it, still works. These really only fail if power steering or oil gets into it, so replace the power steering upper hoses when you do this repair.

Installed flawlessly in my 2001 BMW 325xi wagon! My old alternator was starting to burn up and my battery light came on. Had it tested and it was bad(obviously) and had this one installed and is working as it should! Very happy with it!
