Sturdy product, well made, attractive; however, normal 16 inch studs on center has 14 1/2 inch opening. This will Not fit between most studs. It will fit 24 inch on center walls with blocking.

Works good. Exactly what I was looking for. However, "14x14" suggests that's the size of the recessed frame that gets screwed in and not just the size of the door. At a minimum you can mount this if your opening is 14.75"x14.75".
