I had a tricky project. This Contact paper was very forgiving and patient while I worked on getting it positioned just right. I like that it has a silver backing so I easily knew which side. The original builders did a terrible job on the wall next to the side of the stairs. After 40 years living here, I finally came up with a solution which was to use Contact paper. It did a beautiful job which makes it look like a good paint job. The first pic shows a bit of the Contact paper on the left side of the pic and the pic on the right shows the finished job.

I go this to line shelves that were already painted black to protect the paint from scuffs and to use on container fronts for asthetic reasons. I looks nice, it has high end quality look. It does not cut well with an exacto knife, but with a scissor great. It is very thin and when i tried adjusting it, it ripped easily. It is not to sticky, but it stuck to the painted laminate fine and to the plastic bins as well.

My walls before and after applying the wall paper. I’ve brought this wall paper before in the past and put it in 10ft walls and then had to take it down a few days later. I was successfully able to remove the product without any damage to the wall and I was living in an apartment. Now my walls are 12ft tall and I was able to place and remove the wall paper multiple times without any damage. This is a really good product. I also installed all the wall paper on my walls by myself (that’s how easy it is to put up). I’ve had to buy two rolls to complete the height and width of my wall and both rolls matched the colors exactly. I also didn’t have any bubbles appear. Once I laid down the wall paper, the paper stayed flat to the wall.

Do not recommend. Bought this because I didn’t want to paint the wall black Hard to install. Definitely need 2 people and even then it’s challenging. Sticks well but hard to work with. The material is very unforgiving and “paper” is easily damaged in the install process. I bought black matte and as soon as you bend the paper it puts white creases in the black paper, so it looks distressed not matte. You also see ever imperfection in the wall. Also don’t try to carry I piece in a corner. I ended up cutting the piece in the corner because nothing lined up and there were lots of air bubbles. I know my walls are part of the issue but real wall paper wouldn’t be so difficult.

I bought this to cover the hideous yellow and ivy border in my bedroom and I’m not allowed to paint. I wanted white but it came out more like a very light purple which I ended up liking even more. I washed the walls with rubbing alcohol before applying and used my credit card to smooth as I peeled the backing off. It took forever to put up but it never once fell down! Great stickiness. Maybe it’s too great. After a year I decided I wanted to take it down because I noticed a few black spots behind it. Yes this wallpaper is transparent ish. To my horror there was mold growing behind it! Immediately I started taking it all down and washed off the mold and applied kiltz to the spots. It also peeled off some of the previous paint on the walls creating a bigger mess. THE STICKINESS. OH MY GOD. It’s my worst nightmare right now. It left a sticky residue all over every inch of my walls and now I’m hand scrubbing every inch with a rag to remove it. I’ve tried wall paper remover, goo be gone, go be gone automotive, rubbing alcohol, and dawn dish soap. NOTHING IS WORKING. All I can do is put in some elbow grease to get it off and it takes me all day to do a one roller section of this on the wall. I’ve been working on it for a few days and the dust has started to collect on the stickiness on the walls. I regret it 100%. Not only was is $400 dollars to cover my tiny bedroom it also is really hard to get off. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I gave a 5 star review because the black is true black quality but item is very thin and really doesn’t stick but would recommend to use this kind it would required extra adhesive and be very very delicate movement when sticking because material easily get ringed up . I was not able to purchase extra adhesive no longer interested using item for my decor

The stick shelf paper is great it has multiple uses I have a seat that needed to be covered did a great coverage but go slow in order to keep out the wrinkles ,desk top is like brand new for less the cost to replace it - only thing o noticed if there was just a little more on the roll….
