I ordered the 8' x 20' RV outdoor rug in the Blue Gray color and it has been a great addition to our camping and travel gear. The measurements are accurate and the colors look exactly like the photos. The blue and gray woven pattern is attractive and complements our campsite nicely. The rug comes as a complete kit with a carry bag, six rust-resistant metal stakes, and washers so it's ready to use right out of the package. It also features rust-proof metal grommets in the corners and double-stitched reinforced edges for added durability. Made from polyethylene, the rug is lightweight, easy to fold, and simple to transport. It's soft underfoot, doesn't have a strong odor, and allows water and air to pass through making it ideal for outdoor use. Cleanup is quick—just rinse it off with a garden hose. It's also stain-resistant and fully reversible with the same pattern on both sides so if one side gets dirty, you can simply flip it over. The large 8' x 20' size provides plenty of space for relaxing, dining, or entertaining, comfortably accommodating around 8 to 10 people. It's perfect for RV camping, patios, picnics, and other outdoor activities. My only minor complaints are that the material doesn't feel quite as heavy-duty as some other outdoor rugs I've owned and I wish the included stakes were thicker and that more than six were included for a rug this size. When I first opened the package for this 10x20 outdoor mat, I was a bit confused because the images all depicted it as an awning or shade for an RV or patio, making me think I’d received the wrong item—though it turns out it can be used for both. The material isn't a typical fabric, and while it is a little thinner than I expected, its breathable quality is a huge plus since water won't pool on top of it, and it feels like it will be very easy to rinse clean. My main issue was with the hardware: the six included stakes and washers were just loose in the pack, and for a mat of this size, that really doesn't seem like enough to secure it. Thankfully, I have my own set of stakes to keep it firmly in position. I plan to put this down in the backyard underneath some inflatable seats so everyone can relax comfortably on a clean surface instead of sitting directly in the grass, which should do a great job of blocking out any crawling bugs. I ordered this rug for our backyard pool area. Living in Florida, we deal with a lot of sand, and once it gets wet, it quickly turns into mud. I wanted something to place between the pool and our seating area to help keep everyone's feet cleaner, and this has worked out perfectly. The rug feels well made and durable without being overly heavy. It lays out nicely, and I really appreciate that it comes with metal stakes to help keep it securely in place. That was a nice bonus and saved me from having to buy anything extra. It has been great for keeping sand and dirt under control while providing a comfortable surface to walk on. We spend a lot of time outside our toyhauler, so a large outdoor rug is one of those camping essentials. I ordered the 10x20 size, and it provides plenty of room under our awning for chairs, a table, and still leaves space to walk around without tracking as much dirt inside. The blue and gray reversible pattern looks nice and gives you two different looks depending on which side you use. The reinforced grommets make it easy to stake down, and the breathable HDPE material allows sand and water to pass through instead of pooling on top. It also folds up much smaller than I expected for a mat this size. Because it is such a large mat, it can catch the wind if it isn’t secured well, so I recommend staking every grommet when camping in breezy areas. It’s also worth measuring your campsite or awning area before ordering to be sure the 10x20 size is the best fit for your setup. ... show more

I picked this 10' x 10' outdoor mat mainly for the backyard, but it would also work well under an RV awning or for camping. The blue-gray color is nice and neutral, and the material feels sturdy enough for regular outdoor use. It has reinforced corner grommets, folds back into the carry bag without much trouble, and it's easy to rinse clean with a hose. One thing to know is that it doesn't lay completely flat right out of the box. The shipping folds do improve after sitting in the sun, but when I placed it on my lawn, it still had enough ripples that I found myself catching a toe on it a couple of times. It comes with four metal stakes, but they're fairly thin and didn't do a great job of pulling the mat tight in my grass. Heavier-duty stakes would have made a noticeable difference. Another thing I noticed living in Texas is that this dark-colored mat heats up surprisingly fast in direct sunlight. After only about 10 minutes, it was already quite warm to walk or sit on, so I probably wouldn't choose it for a picnic on a hot summer day unless there's plenty of shade. One small detail that could be clearer in the listing: some of the photos make it look like there are many grommets around the perimeter, but this version only has four reinforced corner grommets and includes four stakes. Overall, I think it's a solid outdoor ground cover that's easy to clean and convenient to transport. Just keep in mind that it's more of a durable ground mat than a soft outdoor rug, and you'll likely want stronger stakes if you plan to use it on grass in windy conditions. ... show more

I would not really call this a mat in the traditional sense. When it arrived I immediately recognized the material as being exactly the same as shade sail fabric which is not necessarily a bad thing but just not what I was picturing when I ordered a camping mat. If you are expecting something soft underfoot you are going to be surprised. With that said it is actually a really versatile piece because of that. The 10x20 size is great and the reinforced grommets mean you could absolutely use this as a ground cover under your awning or string it up as an actual shade sail. Both applications work and the size gives you a lot to work with either way. It is breathable which matters in hot weather and the reversible design is a nice touch. For RV camping where you want something that does multiple jobs without taking up a lot of storage space this actually makes sense. Just go in knowing it is not a plush outdoor rug and you will be happy with what you get. ... show more

Ours came with 5 spikes and 6 rubber washers. On the packaging it's marketed as shade cloth and I can believe that since that's exactly what it looks like. As an RV mat it works too but I think I'll end up using this as a place to step before and after the pool to keep dirt/grass clippings from sticking to your feet before you get to dry them off. It's heavier than it looks and as shade cloth it also does it's job well. If you think of this as a breathable heavy duty tarp, that's what you're laying down as a mat.
