Let's go ahead and compare to Amazon brand AA batteries. In my electronic game call remote, the Amazon batteries last about 2 hours. I put these in and the remote is still full battery status after 6 hours. Huge difference. And as you can see, Amazon batteries are HORRIBLE.

I like using rechargeable batteries because Alkaline batteries always seem to leak. The drawback to NiCad or Nimh rechargeable batteries is that they only generate 1.2 volts and most modern electronics won't work or they think the batteries are dead. These batteries are great because they hold a lot of current and they maintain a constant 1.5 volts. I have several game cameras and they won't work with older style rechargeable batteries but these work great and have a long life and don't seem to be affected by cold weather. Compared to buying disposable batteries these are a great value. Unlike some rechargeable batteries which are too big to work in some AA devices these are the exact size of alkaline batteries and work fine. I am glad these finally have become reliable and affordable.

I used to use rechargeable batteries all the time when I was younger, but I stopped using them because I just didn't use many devices that needed batteries. Now that I have a kid that has all changed. I've found myself going through so many disposable batteries lately that I figured it's time to get back into rechargeable. This charger and batteries is everything I hoped it would be. The batteries that come with it work great, and 3000mWh is a lot for a AA battery. The charger is really convenient with a USB-C plug and the ability to fit both AA and AAA batteries. I appreciate that there's no weird gimmicks, like ground effects. It's just a simple charger that works great at a great price.
