Awesome carburetor! my lawn mower would not run. I replaced the carburetor with this one. Everything was in the package that I needed. Carburetor materials were a bit cheaper feeling than the original one but that is to be expected with a generic carburetor and at $15 and everything you get with it okay did you start crying again. That sure beats rebuilding the existing carburetor and having to buy new gaskets and everything 10 minutes and I was done. We'll see about durability but even if I have to replace it every couple years it is well worth it. I would highly recommend this carburetor. Now I have no problem starting my lawn mower it starts on the first Pull!!!

My Craftsman mower stopped working, and I didn’t want to spend a fortune taking it to a shop. Luckily, my son had taken a small engines class last year, and he identified this as the part we needed. Replaced a carb on my Craftsman 6.75hp self propelled mower that has sat in the garage for almost 2 years with old unstabilized fuel. Drained the old fuel from the tank. Replaced the old crusty carb with this one and after 6 pulls it fired right up! The carb fit perfect. Took about 20 minutes to replace the carb, spark plug, air filter and drain the old fuel. Now that it has good fuel, in this new carb it fires right up after 1-2 pulls. This carb kit was good quality and by far the best value for the money!

The media could not be loaded. I have a 2013 Troybilt TB230 with the original Briggs and Stratton 725EX engine. I replaced the original carburetor with this one. Easy install, except for where the z-bent autochoke linkage attaches to the choke arm on the carb. The hole on the carb arm where the linkage slips in and attaches was too small. I couldn't get the z-bend to slide thrpugh the hole. I had to use a 7/64 drill bit and open that hole. A little WD40, and I could get the z-bend in that linkage to slide into the hole finally and attach. Still a tight fit but just like the stock one fit. Other than that, everything else lined up, it bolted right up and fired on the 2nd pull. Runs like new.

Cleaned the carb and didn't help, purchased this, replaced in under 15 min and works like a charm. Unless you are bored or broke I recommend just replacing the carb at this price.
