The media could not be loaded. QUALITY IMPROVEMENT IN WORK: These feather boards have dramatically improved the edges of my hardwood projects. You get a tight fit and this translates to your work. In this video, you see me cutting pieces for a 38" charcuterie board. I ended up getting no edge variances when the hardwoods are stacked together. EASE OF USE: I don't honestly know why I didn't purchase these years ago. I'm beyond happy about this purchase. Assembly a snap and takes about 10 seconds. Line up the black plastic cleats (located on the bottom side of your feather boards), and drop them into the miter channel, slide the feather board toward your work and press in slightly before tightening each knob. Tip: Do not allow your father board fingers to overlap or come close to the saw blade for safety reasons. SAFETY: These make cutting wood much safer in my opinion. You can purchase the narrower Powertec feather boards for your fence face which will make it even safer to cut hardwoods without anti-kickback pawls. QUALITY OF MATERIALS USED: These feather boards are built extremely well and are sure to last a very very long time. Good quality polymer used in these and they are kinda beefy. BONUS: For taller stock (E.g. 3x3, etc), you can stack these feather boards and it couldn't be simpler. CONS: There are none that I can think of! A well made product at a good price. Buy these and don't look back. You will not be disappointed. :-) ... show more

The feather blocks are a game changer, I needed the straight slots since the Ryobi mini table saw doesn’t have a groove on the left side of the blade I just drilled holes in the table and this setup works amazing.

I bought this set with the hope it would fit my DeWalt DWE7491RS table saw. It fits perfectly! Once I had it properly installed (using the 2" Phillip head screws and not the T-bolts), the miter slot brackets tightened up, clamping it to the table surface. The featherboard doesn't move, and is easily adjustable. I work in the tools department at Lowe's, and wish we could offer this product! I would highly recommend this to someone else! I'm writing a review very specifically for the stacked set of featherboards and not the individual ones. I bought a single Powertec featherboard for my auxillary fence to keep work pieces down, and was so happy with it I decided to go for the dual stackable set to replace my Milescraft stacked set which is infuriating to adjust. However, there was one positive point to the Milescraft, which was the insert spacer that locked the two featherboards securely together. The stacked Powertec featherboards comes with a couple spacers that does not lock the featherboards together, which in my mind is really phoning it in as design goes. The result is that the stacked featherboards don't move as a single unit, and adjustments are once again terrible and infuriating. So if you want to use these as single featherboards, buy these. You'll love them. They work great. But if you want a stacked version for taller pieces, look for featherboards that don't utilize loose spacers that don't lock the pieces together. ... show more
