    • Flawed to the bone. Cost me days of my life and thousand in labor. DO NOT BUY.

I wish I could write a good review for these. I bought several. On one the strap broke. On another the mechanism stuck and I could not get the strap to unwind. But the worst part was discovering (to my horror) that the punch that creates the metal base for this thing leaves the edges proud and after strapping my floor it totally destroyed the board it was attached to — scratches the daylights out of it. I had four of them and they all are the same... a material defect. I supposed you could felt these, but you shouldn’t have to. Overall these cost me three days of my life tearing up glue-down flooring because of the damage. I really wish I’d used something else — these were not worth the box they were shipped in. All respect to the manufacturer, take a close look at your units and you’ll see that every one of them has two knifelike curves where the hooks are bent and if you apply even modest pressure (their intended function) it will mark the floors with their indentation. ... show more
