Great switch, easy to install. I used this on my "new to me" jointer to replace the cheap paddle switch. Love the magnetic feature and the emergency stop/lock out. It was very easy to install. I had to provide my own strain reliefs, but it all worked out well.

Great switch. I used it on my Router table to control my Porter Cable 75185 15 amp Router. I've only had it a short time, but so far so good. Wiring diagram was spot on. Installation was straight forward but requires crimp style lugs.

My last switch was a different brand, but appears to have been exactly the same switch. It lasted about 12 years before one of the terminals snapped off and it quit working. This one was very easy to swap into its place, but since the last switch was exactly the same as this one, all the custom bits had already been figured out. This is to be expected when you retrofit a Delta saw with another brand switch. No big deal... especially if you are handy enough to even consider swapping switches... or is it switching swaps??? If I get 12 years out of it, I'll be fine with that. It's a simple switch that is very easy to turn off with your knee (on a table saw). That way if I cut off my hand, I'll be able to turn off the saw without a hand. Seems like a lose/win situation to me! ... show more

Contrary to what one reviewer and the AI summary says, this switch DOES NOT turn itself off if power is lost. And be aware that the gang box is not included, so you will need to source one. Other than the issues just mentioned, this is well made and works well to turn off my 240V 3 hp table saw.

I usually never leave reviews, but this product I feel like I have too. I bought this for a temporary fix for my Harvey table saw specifically the Alpha 110LC-36. Long story but I broke the original stop/start button that comes with the saw. So I ended up ordering this. And it worked. Some modification had to be made but that’s because it didn’t fit with the housing that came with the Harvey saw. I ended up buying a gang box and putting this along with all the wire into it. Powered it on and ran smooth. I ended up making this the permanent fix as Harvey took forever to send me a replacement part. Built with quality material and for a cheap price. ... show more

I have a 10 year old Jet 10inch table saw. It is the workhorse in my garage. When I have a project/Honeydo..I am almost guaranteed to use it. So when the power switch went out in April I tried to order one from Jet, they said two to four months back order. Then in August they said they wont have it until Feb 2023...What.. So if found this one on Amazon and thought I would take a chance. Well I am glad I did. Not only did I get it in 4 days, but I was able to install it myself and have my saw up and running again the next day. Be aware that this switch is not a smooth as the original one from Jet, but maybe that a good thing. You have to apply a little more force to the on button to get it to turn on the power. The "Off paddle" works very easy though, which again I think is a good thing. I am very happy with this switch so far and would recommend it to anyone in my same situation. And as an added bonus it was 1/4th the price of the one from Jet.. ... show more

First it does work. The wiring terminals are small and should include a clamp for the wires. I purchased the POWERTEC 71384 Deep box so everything would go together. Wrong. The box is too shallow so you must use the spacers that were provided. This leaves a gap. The installation was fairly easy. I would be very reluctant to buy another POWERTEC product . ... show more
