This pair of soccer goals is convenient and easy to assemble. They arrived in a surprisingly small box, which bodes well for storing them when they are not in use. The poles articulate like tent poles and feed smoothly through the vinyl border of the net. Once you put the front corner pieces in place, they hold their shape well. In order to keep the dimensions right, there is a strap that connects the front two corners. That could be seen as an imposition, but it also provides an easy line for identifying when a goal has been scored! (The product I originally received had 4' straps included, which belong to a different product size; but Amazon exchanged my order for one that included the right sized straps.) To have a pair of goals this size at this price is perfect for young players. The ball, cones, and ball pump are bonus touches. These nets give them a specific place to target (other than a wall) and will help them get used to shooting on a net size they would find at community soccer matches. The vinyl borders seem to be rather thin, and I suspect that sunlight would degrade them rather quickly. But they are so easy to collapse and put away, that I might do that regularly just to keep them in good shape when the kids aren't actively practicing. These would probably not hold up for older players with a strong foot, but for younger elementary students, they're just what they need. I'm pleased. ... show more

    • Complete and Perfect for Young Soccer Enthusiasts' Personal Soccer Practice Needs!

This soccer set is perfect for us, and it came in at a good market price! Our grandkids are beginning soccer players, just getting into soccer, with their dad as the team’s coach. Working together, we were able to assemble both goals and get their practice area ready to use in less than ten minutes. This set breaks down and is easy to store and doesn’t take up much room, which is super convenient when they want to take it with them for practicing elsewhere. While this set is not made of “pro or public-school strength” materials, it is perfect for home practice. My son-in-law, the coach, also plans to use it for “extra” team practice at the local park. We didn’t think much of the soccer ball that was included in this set, but each of our players have their own color and ball from last Christmas so that hasn’t been a problem. The cones are lightweight but nice to have; they are mostly for marking off the dribbling practice area and if there isn’t a gusting wind, the light plastic isn’t a problem. This soccer set's realistic features make kids feel like they're out with the whole team! We were using a “pop-up” practice net that staked down at the beginning of the season, but this set is a complete game set. It’s solid enough that it should last for quite a few seasons or at least until our grandsons grow enough to need a bigger set of nets. This “step-up” soccer set is motivating these little boys to keep getting out and practicing their soccer skills. They love this set! ... show more

    • Easy to put together, but a little flimsy

This is a great set up for any beginning child or team getting into soccer. It's very easy to put together (both goals took about 5 minutes including stake down time). They're perfect for a U6 team and a newer coach (since a lot of U6 teams are just parents who said yes they'd coach in the youth league). These don't cost an arm and a leg and can be easily transported in the trunk of full sized car or SUV. Don't plan on these being super durable, but they will last at least a season or two if you're using them twice a week. They fold up fairly easily and can be stored in a garage when not in use. The ball and cones that come with these are garbage (mostly just throw ins), but you really should be investing in your own anyway. This little set was great for setting up a small training pitch for our 5 year old to practice dribbling and shooting. I don't see much use for it at any higher level because the goals won't withstand any large amount of force behind a kicked ball. ... show more

Everything seems like it is in good shape. The bag is sturdy and everything fits inside. However, when I tried to pump the ball up we discovered it had a hole in it. I need this for an event I am having this weekend or it would be returned.
