  • Plenty of Power, Portable
I did not know I was looking for something like this until I ran across it. Just like everyone else I have those power banks which are used to charge cell phones. What makes this Powermax different from those power banks is the size of it, how much power it can deliver plus you may run 120v devices. You are also able to charge multiple devices at the same time. The power are a standard 120 plug, 12v lighter plug and 3 USB with 1 Type C. It has a screen to let you know what the battery level is as well as which outlets are being used. This unit has a nice looking design and easy to carry around. The built in fan helps in keeping things running for extended amount of time. I’ve had no issues with it. This works well and is the device we take now on trips. If you will be taking this out camping I would suggest a solar panel to keep it charged throughout your stay. Thank you for taking the time to read my review and photos of this product. I hope it has been helpful in providing you with more information. ... show more

  • More than I bargained for
Just got my portable power depot and honestly more useful than I originally thought when I purchased. Had bought mainly as additional power supply for my boat when not hooked up to shore power but have now been using at home as a power supply so I can work in the backyard on my laptop without having to use long extension cord. This is perfect for any outdoor activities such as camping, RV, tailgating....etc. I plan to leave at home as here in Southern California we have occasional rolling blackout power outages. Small, portable but packs lots of power........am loving it. ... show more

  • Great for Tailgating
I purchased this product specifically to use for tailgating at college football games. Worked perfectly for our LED 48”TV & LED Lights strung around the canopy tents. The TV was on at least 5hrs or maybe a little longer. This Powerstation will be great for camping &/or picnics too. Well pleased with my purchase, price, & the quality of the product. Works great charging iPhones too. ... show more

  • This thing is AWESOME!
We took this camping and were able to keep all 6 devices (iphones, ipads AND my laptop) powered up with no problem. Very light and easy to carry ...surprising power packed into this compact design.

  • Nice portable power station, but zero customer support
This power station is stylish and ultra-portable. It’s similar in size to a small lunch box. I got this primarily for charging electronic devices on all-day fishing trips. But It’s so convenient to carry that I ended up bring it even on short road trips. I’ve used this power station for other tasks as well. During a recent power outage, I used this to power my entire network panel for over an hour (see photo). Devices in the network panel only draw around 65 watts combined, so this power station should be able to go quite a bit longer than one hour if necessary. Operating the power station is relatively intuitive. I charged using the included wall plug. One thing that’s a bit irritating is that there’s no visual indicator showing charge complete. I charged for over 10 hours, and the charge symbol was still showing (i.e., the symbol with the lightning bolt; see photo). I just assumed it was full. Amazon listing says this power station can be charged with solar panels. But solar charging was not mentioned in the instructions at all. Instructions say this power station takes a DC input of 18V at 2A. Since my portable solar panel can deliver an open-circuit voltage as high as around 23V, I wasn’t sure whether the solar panel can be connected directly to the power station. I tried to find more information on the Powermaxusa web site. But this product is not even listed. The only products listed on their web site are batteries. I tried emailing customer service but didn’t receive a reply. I also tried calling several times. One the 3rd time, I actually reached a person. But she knew nothing about the product. She asked me to resend my original email to her, so she can forward to a product specialist. I verified she received my email, but never heard back from anyone. Overall, I think this is a high-quality product that has many uses. But I can’t find any information on the internet about it at all. And there’s no customer support. So if you get this power station and run into problems, you’re on your own. ... show more

  • Basic Power Station NOT a Generator...
Nice unit, but it is a very basic power station. Not saying that is bad, just a basic one. It's good looking and well made. Nice handle on it for carrying. there are no labels on any of the buttons, why? it is pretty easy to figure out, but would have been nice to have some marking. There is little to no information on the screen. Just a power level bar display that does not give any percentage, so not very accurate. Gonna be some guessing. Only one outlet, but does have a cover. There is no adapter for the 12V car outlet included, very odd, comes with every other one I've reviewed. Plugged in a LED desk lamp and it works perfectly, just as it should. sadly, only the USB-C outlet does fast charging. The other USB outlets are just "charging". Was hoping for super fast charging, but not on this unit, although other units have it. One thing with this, they call this a generator, it is NOT a generator. it simply stores power. it does NOT generate anything. miss leading and untrue if you ask me. I know why they say that, but it's not right. Overall it is a good unit. Though it's kind of high priced for such a basic unit. ... show more

  • Mighty Power Station
This is basically a battery. Putting the words “solar powered generator” in the title is kind of confusing. It can store a lot of electricity. I tried it to run my MacBook Pro on a workday. It lasted more than 8 hours. I know I can count on it when there is a power outage. There is a 110V AC outlet, a 12V DC car power socket, three USB-A ports, and one USB-C on the device. I tested their voltages. They are just perfect. I will use it as a backup battery at home or a portable power station on a camping trip. There is one minor issue. After being fully charged, it won’t turn off or give users an indication. The LED display shows a battery sign with full bars. There is no percentage. It’s hard to know if it is really done with recharging. ... show more
