  • Great set for the money!
Size: Men's Standard Hand Orientation: Right
Great starter set for folks who golf occasionally with firends. It has everything you need. Just add balls and tees!

  • Good beginner set, great bag, but you'll want to replace the driver sooner than later.
Size: Men's Standard Hand Orientation: Right
Just started playing golf again after about 20 years (I've been to the driving range over the years, but never went out to actually play) and, for the price, I'm pretty impressed with these clubs. The irons/wedge are solid and the hybrid and fairway wood are good as well, but the driver leaves a lot to be desired. Idk what it is, maybe I'm not used to the size of the head, but it's difficult to hit and the distance is lackluster at best. I switched it out for the 20 year old Calloway driver that I had lying around, which is significantly smaller, and I've had no issues hitting with that (other than my awful slice to the right lol). I also don't care for the putter but that's just personal preference, I don't like blade putters. I'm not taking any points off for the putter, just the driver. Still, for the price it's a solid beginner setup and the bag is actually pretty decent. Also, you'll probably get comments about the name and logo on the bag sounding like they're a brand of power tools. That's honestly been a bonus for me because it's hilarious. ... show more

  • Good set of value clubs
Size: Men's Tall (+1") Hand Orientation: Right
I got these for myself after deciding to start playing golf again after 20+ years of not doing so. They’re very nice clubs for the money (note: this whole *set* cost less than my neighbor’s *driver*), and contain almost everything you could need to go out and hit the links; you might want a sand wedge and possibly a long iron, but even those are optional. The driver has a nice, large sweet spot and hits long and true when you make good contact. It’s not super-forgiving when you don’t, but that just means it’s feedback to get better. Are there drivers out there that’ll hit it further, with a larger sweet spot, or help moderate mistakes more? Yes, but not for anything like the price of this one (about $20 out of the roughly $200 the set costs). It certainly serves to get you from the tee to the fairway. The fairway wood and hybrid are solid, and give good distance. I didn’t notice a ton of spin on either, but again, for a set aimed for beginners, is anyone really trying for backspin or topspin? Anyone shooting a fade or draw? Thought not. The irons offer a nice, roughly 10 yard gap between each at full swing. One can easily use the pitching wedge as a utility wedge for bunkers and chip-ins. The only club I’ve not really used is the putter, as I already have a nice one that I use (in fact, getting it was part of the impetus for getting back into golf). The bag is a little small if you’re planning on packing 14 clubs, but for a compact set like this (9 clubs), it’s perfect. There’s plenty of storage for balls, tees, gloves, the rain cover, and other stuff. All in all, this is a great inexpensive, “I wanna see if I like golf with my own clubs,” set for someone to take to the driving range or out on the links. As you improve, replace it piecemeal. ... show more

  • Good starting set Good starting set
Size: Men's Standard Hand Orientation: Right
Good starter set. I do well with the irons, for some reason I can not hit well with this driver compared to others I've used. Perfect if you wan lt an inexpensive starting set to just hit the range or go with friends for a quick round.

  • Great low-commitment purchase to get back into golf
Size: Men's Standard Hand Orientation: Right
I'm giving these 5 stars because they meet the ONLY expectation I had when buying these: finding a decent set of clubs I could "beat up" while getting back into golf after 20 years off. For 200 bucks, the quality is fantastic if you're just getting started or getting back into the game They have held up well on the course and are an easy, low-commitment purchase before upgrading to a higher-quality set after getting back into the swing of things ... show more

  • Great first set of clubs or for an occasional golfer!
Size: Men's Standard Hand Orientation: Right
Bought for our son and is a high end beginners set. If you are an occasional golfer and want a good looking, functional and solid set and bag, this is it. Not sure if golf is going to be your game? Then I really recommend this set.
