I would give this five stars, but my use for this device needed me to mount it to a board. I ended up using hot melt glue to affix the battery interface to my project piece. So far the glue holds well but a couple of screw holes would be better. I would have drilled my own but I decided that wasn't a good idea and glue seems to work fine. I’ve made 3 of these now with different brand adapters. This adapter has screws holding it together, making it easier to work with. I take it apart drill a hole in it which allows for a bolt to attach the light bracket. Got the flood light from Harbor Freight. It make for a heck of a light. Only one day of use since receiving the adapter and my grandson loves the increased speed. Was already using after market connectors and battery. Just used same connectors for adapter and now have instant backup power with my dewalt batteries.
