Another epic season brought out by shout factory. Super sentai Carranger well only onto disc 6 since recieving this just on Tuesday but I am really loving. Love how the Bowzock are ruthless and reckless gang of biker thugs and anit anything like there power ranger Turbo parts. Love all the comedy, action in the great season special seeing Signalman (Blue Senturion) has a wife and kid and is only in some of the episodes before he goes back to his home planet (planet police) The next thing is that the villlain zonnette has a massive crush for Red Racer and there a scene where he actually makes her cry. But she dosnt no it's him when he unmorphed. Love the art cover for this season as well. So thumbs up for that :) But all in all. This is another fabulous release and glad well Happy to add it to my other 4 super sentai seasons. Roll on the next one 👍 ... show more

    • fun and what power rangers is based off of
a wonderful set and a fairly accurate sub of the super sentai that became power rangers turbo season, this was a very campy and funny season that never took itself seriously at all, not much to say that cant be said, best thing tho is if you like power rangers especially the early seasons then you will love this and hope they keep on making these sets so we can get to the 35th anniversary season so fans can have a real special, only down side to this set is they don't have the vs movies in this set which is the issue with the last set, and as of this writing they are making the fun season and the one that power rangers were going to end with megaranger ... show more

another quality release from shout factory! Carranger was adapted into Power Rangers Turbo. While most didn't care for that season of power rangers, this series is actually a parody of the super sentai genre. So if you like comedy and action, Carranger is the place to go. So much was taken out of this sentai when it was adapted into power rangers. So if you miss seeing rangers kicking ask, with the original henchmen of the sentai, then here you go. lots of great action and mecha battles.Carranger is a great sentai series for any sentai fan. packaing is very nice as well. 8 discs to house the entire series....and of course...megaranger is coming in august! so help shout factory out by buying these great super sentai dvds! ... show more

    • Source Material to Power Rangers
This will basically be the same review as the other Sentai sets I bought. Great quality for what it is, and the subtitles are in English. Always loved Power Rangers and always wanted to see the source material.

Despite being made to be a spoof of Super Sentai, Carranger still delivers the traditional episodic scenarios of five heroes against a monster of the Week, and Giant robot battles.

Shout Factory has done it again by bringing us Gekisou Sentai Carranger. Unlike Power Rangers Turbo, Carranger is more comical and lighthearted. It even shows the villains as what they really were; as a team of reckless biker gang. This is a great series for any fans of Power Rangers and Super Sentai to own for it has plenty of action, comedy, and important traffic safety advice, and a villainess who has a crush on the hero's leader.     • Let me explain my 5 stars
I’m not gonna pretend it’s perfect. No special features. Terrible UI. No remastered audio...and none of that matters. As somebody who loved Power Rangers growing up, I’ve found myself fascinated by the fact we never got an official release of its original Japanese format before now. This is exactly what I wanted. A professionally subtitled official release. Even if the rest of the dvds are nothing special beyond the show itself, I still love that I don’t need to torrent these shows anymore to understand this better the franchise I loved as a kid and continue to love today through these releases. ... show more

    • Great Sentai series!
Not sure where this would fall on my list on favorite Sentau series given that is it only the third one that I have seen, but it is great. It lets itself be lighthearted and charming throughout and that is its biggest strength. All the characters, even the villains, are lovable. Dappu is adorable and is far better than that weird alien thing in that Turbo movie. Lots of fun with great comedy and action. Turbo might have been a miss, but Carranger is quality. ... show more
