  • Seems decent
Style: 90 Watt
Seems decent. Works as designed. Had a couple of old speakers that I hooked this up to and sent a radio to. Louder than I expected. Sound quality seems decent. We shall see how it lasts. Shipping took forever. Waited a week to ship it and then overnight aired it to me so it would just squeak into the window that they said it would arrive in. Was starting to think I got scammed. ... show more

  • Nice for simple turntable setup
Style: 90 Watt
I use this little amp for a basic turntable setup with some wired bookshelf speakers. The turntable has a built-in pre-amp so setup was a breeze - just connect a few cables and go. It's not audiophile quality sound, but it's waaaaaaay better than my turntable's built-in speakers and didn't break the bank. The tone adjustment is nice, even with just bass and treble adjustments. Here's my basic setup: Ion Luxe Bluetooth Record Player: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09QGWVCV4 Diamond-tip cartridge upgrade: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08P4H7BCH Singing Wood T25 60W Speakers: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08CD39LZR Novogratz Turntable stand: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08CQF7X1K And of course, this little Pyle amp. Overall I'm pretty pleased with this setup. I may eventually change the power supply for the amp, but it's by no means a high priority. The sound output right now is enough to fill a large room with clear music loud enough to prevent normal volume conversations. ... show more

  • At This Price, I Am Pleased it Works At All
Style: 90 Watt
UPDATE: After just under two years, it is still working with no issues. I use to play music from an Amazon Dot over my bookshelf speakers. So, the amp is on 24/7 waiting for me to tell Alexa to play music. Pretty darn reliable for the money. Original Review: I have wanted a pair of Klipsch speakers since I first heard them at a friends house in the mid '80s. Back then I couldn't come close to affording them. Last month, I saw the Klispch R 41M's on sale at CostCo for under one hundred bucks. I couldn't resist. Suddenly, I was in need of something to put in between my phone and the new speakers. Space is a big concern in our house, so I needed something small, And since I needed a new stereo system like a hole in the head, I didn't want to spend too much. After spending some time on Amazon, I settled on the PFA300. Most of the competition had a fair amount of negative reviews, as did the PFA300. I was cautious at first. I hooked it up to a pair of old bookshelf speakers. Unlike what I read in a couple of other reviews, they didn't blow up as soon as I powered up the amp. The amp worked just fine. I then set up the Klipsch's. While I am not a true audiophile, I think the sound is great. I've been listening to an Amazon Echo for a couple of years. What a difference. I attribute that to a pair of quality speakers. For under 30 bucks, the most I hoped for was that the amp wouldn't significantly diminish the sound quality or ruin other pieces of equipment. Expectations met or exceeded. There are a couple of downsides. The is a significant pop when you turn the amp on or off, and there is no balance control. But then again, it cost less than thirty bucks. As of now, I highly recommend the PFA 300. Time will tell. I just set it up yesterday. I intend to go back to this review (Amazon version) should things go bad down the line. So, if time has passed, and you see this on Amazon, you can assume it is still working fine. Did I mention it cost less than thirty bucks? ... show more

  • Amazing amp
Style: 90 Watt
Replaced an old stereo amp I was using to have Alexa power into 2 sets of speakers in my garage/barn/shop. This little amp easily handles full power of Alexa INPUT with 2 sets of stereo speakers as OUTPUT. Love this amp! Low cost replacement instead of using 20+ year old equipment. 5-Stars

  • Great basic amp for playing arcade games or a custom arcade machine, but not without its flaws.
Style: 90 Watt
I bought this amp for a pair of speakers from various Sega arcade machines (Virtua Cop 2, House of the Dead 1 DX), and out of the box, the speakers plugged in just fine after removing the pins from the molex connector using a kit I had. I do eventually plan to add more speaker wire, but I've got the front of the amplifier facing my wall in my desk so the pins of my speakers can plug in nicely and still give me decent stereo sound when playing classics like Daytona USA and Virtua Cop with crystal clear arcade audio in my own house. And best of all? It doesn't take up much space like a real cabinet would! :P Unfortunately when I received mine, the RCA port wasn't functioning well (presumably maybe a cold or bad solder in the board?). The Bass and Treble knobs also appeared to not change the sound at all. If you are using a Windows PC, I highly recommend downloading EqualizerAPO; especially if you have a good sound card (I use an external USB Creative Sound Blaster Play 3), as it really amplifies the loudness of what these speakers pumped out in an arcade, grabbing customer's attention. The amp does produce hissing on Windows but there should be workarounds to it as mentioned in others' reviews. I'm not wholly bothered by the hissing, though. The other cool feature is if the speakers are turned up too high, the amp will just cut the speakers off without damaging them. All-in-all, I'm happy with the $25 I dropped into this amp. It seems to be getting the job done and works well with even speakers used on your favorite arcade games. I reckon they would be amazing for a MAME cabinet, too. I will edit the review if something bad happens with the amp. ... show more
