Overall really nice, petite bench. Easily assembled. Wood color is what we had expected based on photos. Fabric a bit more brown in color rather than an ivory and is nice enough to the touch. Comfort - firm for sure. Appears to be pretty sturdy, not certain what weight it can hold up to. We have a spacious area between back of sofa and kitchen island so using this behind the sofa to create an extra bit of seating when we have gatherings. Finished it off with a small round drink table to one side and a small toss pillow for some balance. 5 stars because it provided us with what we had hoped to accomplish for little cost, decent value for the money. ... show more

I was looking for a bench for our dining table. I came across this one & had to have it (although it does not match with my table, I loved the look of it with the backing to it). The color is a beige. The table in pictures is 70", so the length of this bench is perfect. The cushion comes attached to the bench. It is just beautiful! Looks expensive, and seems to be well made! I was so excited for this bench and it is just… not great. I looked at the reviews with pictures but when mine arrived the stain is extremely yellow and glossy and does not look like the light natural wood in the picture. It is also not very well made, there was a piece of wood on the front that looked like it had been chipped off then just stained over, and the front leg on the right side couldn’t be screwed in all of the way because the upholstery from the bench seat was hanging over the right side making it impossible to screw in. Even the allen wrench provided had an extra chip on the end making it impossible to use because it didn’t fit (good thing I’m poor and have to buy cheap furniture so I have 283937 allen wrenches from putting furniture together). It’s also extremely uncomfortable (but in assuming most would buy this for fashion over function). It immediately went back. I would not recommend… there are many other bench options that are far nicer for a better price. ... show more

Decent quality but cushioning is non-existent. Uncomfortable to sit on for more than a few minutes. Also, not very roomy seating for adults over 5’4”. Looks nice but as its primary function is seating…can’t recommend. Purchased on sale; would not pay full price.

I ordered this bench to fill the empty space by our front door and act as a seat for our guests to put their shoes on. It came well packaged and I did not notice any damage to any pieces. I was pleasantly surprised to find that there were only 5 pieces to put together and the instructions were easy to follow. The hardware came clearly labeled. The only issue, and it was barely an issue, was that the holes for some of the pieces didn't line up quite right. It was an easy fix and I just removed everything and started over. The best way to put it together is to thread all the screws just a smidge and then once they're all set, you can go ahead and tighten them up. This way even if they aren't fully in line, its a lot easier to get them screwed in. The best part: It didn't have that god awful fishy smell that most products come with. :) The cushion is already attached to the bench and its pretty soft -- thin, but it has some pretty decent quality padding. The rattan on the bench back is taut and doesn't seem like it'll be a concern, but don't drag your hand across it. It will leave you with a splinter or two, but nothing too bad. Definitely worth the money. 10/10 recommend. ... show more
