Box was sealed poorly, like the main flap was bulging out and needed tape to keep it shut. Typical for something used that wasn't re-packed properly. But other than that, it looked brand new. Either way, it was dead on arrival. Was torn on the refund vs replacement; for the price it looked/felt like proportionate bang/buck if it worked. Ultimatly went with a 1970s model from an OG on FB marketplace for half the price. Feels bulletproof, but YMMV, good luck.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I bought this pottery wheel for my daughters (8 and 10 years old), and it has been such a fun activity for all of us, even I enjoy using it! It came with everything you need to get started, including clay and tools, so we were able to start our first project. The wheel is very easy to use and definitely kid-friendly. A great activity for the kids. Highly recommend!

This is OK - I had high hopes for this after reading the reviews. It's OK, it works, but it is very hard to manage the clay without the whole machine wobbling and the platform doesn't really spin as fast as it should. I would NOT buy this again. My 8 year old played with it for a little bit but ultimately was disappointed.
