    • Good quality outer bag; inner bag needs improvement

Got two of these beanbags last week for my grandsons, aged 9 and 3. Both have very durable,removable canvas (duckcloth) covers and mesh inner lining bags that are supposed to contajn the pellets while outer bags are bejng laundered. The boys love them, and i love the quality. Both bags were well-filled with styrofoam pellets about 1/3 x 1/4 inches long. What I DO NOT like is the way the outer zipper popped open when the younger boy flopped down on the larger beanbag, and the inner bag had a small 5" tear in the seam and liner fabric that allowed a bunch of the balls to escape. It took me and my daughter more than 20 minutes to corral the pellets, most of which were between the liner and the cover. I stitched the hole together and put tbe liner into the plastic cover the beanbag was packed in for shipping before stuffing them both back into the outer cover. I hope it will be a long time before the cover needs washing, because all those pellets generate a lot of static electricity that defies being stuffed back into the liner! The inner liner is thin polyester mesh and stretches easily to allow movement when the bags are being used. Unfortunately, it apparently tears easily, too. I paid over $120 for these two beanbags, and I really like them, but repairing one in less than a week is not part of what I bargained for. ... show more

I bought this bean bag chair for a slightly rambunctious kindergartner. When I opened the package the cover is unfilled. The "beans" are in another mesh bag. The bag has a zipper. I don't know if I was rough with the mesh bag, but a small hole opened up on the seam. Before putting the mesh bag into the cover I sealed up the hole. Since then, my child has been jumping on it, squishing it around on the floor and other destructive type behaviors that would leave a cheap bean bag in ruins. I have no idea on the health of the inner mesh bag, but I really don't think it matters at this point. You just need to get everything inside the cover. It's sturdy, strong and the pattern is cute. I've never valued paying this much for a bean bag chair, but this one was worth it. ... show more

The beanbag was a nice quality. I like that the beans inside were enclosed in their own case. However, the cover felt like a plastic material rather than fabric and was not soft feeling. Also, the strap/band is on the top of the beanbag so when you sit on it, you are sitting on a strap which is not comfortable. Got this for my seven-year-old granddaughter who liked the size and the color but did not like the feel of it so we had to return it. ... show more

Better than what we had back in the 90s! The filler peanuts are larger than the old tiny balls we had. I love that when my 5 year old unzips the cover out of curiosity that the filler is in a second mesh that seem plenty durable. Haven’t needed to wash it or anything yet. Perfect size for my 5 year old though I can sit on it comfortably too. I did get the larger size for my older boys ... show more

This bean bag chair is awesome! It is a Christmas gift but I had to peek. Cover is bright and colorful and made of a quality material. Canvas perhaps? Stuffing is plentiful and makes the chair feel very full. I ordered the larger size because my 5 year old great granddaughter is taller than average. I'll bet she'll use it for at least 5 years. I'm sure I will be ordering these for other grandchildren. ... show more
