Loose strings on bows, loose tuning pegs, but good enough to get started
I got this as a starter violin for my kid because they wanted to give it a try, and I didn't want to pay a lot for something they might play a few times and decide they didn't want to continue. Had a few issues with it when setting it up for use: 1) The tuning pegs were extremely loose and would not
hold their positions when tuning. Even after pushing them as hard as I could, they would still loosen themselves, so the tuning process took a long time having to repeatedly re-adjust. I ended up having to use fine tuning to its limits to not disturb the pegs once I could find a spot where they stuck. The tuner it comes with has to be attached to the violin in order to tune correctly. 2) The bows had loose hairs that would not pull taut, despite tightening the bow as far as I could without threatening to damage it. They hung down and would catch on the other violin strings while bowing. I eventually had to cut them off with scissors. 3) The bridge had no notches for the strings, so I basically had to eyeball where they were supposed to go. There were no instructions on how to set things up. Otherwise, it gets the job done and does play and learn. You get what you pay for, so as long as you aren't expecting much, it's a decent way to give the violin a try. 3 stars for quality, but 4 for the price.

Other then you have to set it up and actually know what your doing this violin is decent. It's not plastic it is cheap wood. The tuning pegs are plastic tho and you'll have to shove them in quite tightly for a stable tune. Nome of which I think is a bad thing just need to know what your doing. For a
violin for a kid that wants to try it but your afraid to pay for a nice one for them later on to tell you this isn't their thing boom here you go. It's fragile tho so make sure they don't throw it and drop it

ble The tuner works, but the fact that it only shows the notes for the strings of the instrument you select is kind of confusing. A normal chromatic tuner might be helpful to know how many tones or semi-tones your string is off, not just if it's flat or sharp. At the very least, I would recommend getting a bridge that is properly shaped, new (non-steel) strings, and different rosin. The instrument itself works, the case is decent, and the cleaning cloth isn't bad.

Great instrument! Good for learning child. it is a great buy for beginner at this price. The size is fit for my 9 year old kid who just starting play violin at school, and the sound is good. The installation process was very easy too. I could set it up myself without any help. The case is also light

VIOLIN LOOKS GOOD BUT DELIVERY BOX WAS PACKED NEGLIGENTLY, ALMOST OPEN

The violin LOOKS GOOD but came in 2 BOXES (1 bigger than the other) and both boxes came almost open with one weak scotch tape barely sealing the boxes....Whoever seals these boxes don't give a crap about the customers, maybe the company is MORE WORRY ABOUT NOT SPENDING TOO MUCH...

Came in non-damaged box. Looks like perhaps it was opened and returned as a different product. This one had plastic strings like a kid toy, not metal. No replacement strings at all (missing 4 sets), missing 1 whole Bow, missing 1 Rosin case. Instructions not helpful for beginners at all, still trying
to find out how to tune it or place bridge so it doesnt slip, been 3 hours so far no success. I'm thinking it was just a scammed return that somehow was sent as New In Box but then that means the QA team sucks. Either way I have to return it even though we waited a week and band class already started.

This violin is relatively lightweight. Complete accessories , and it comes with a second now & a set of strings. Tone is good after tuning. The black color of the violin makes it cool for kids.

Bought this for Jimmy, he love it very much this is his second violin, happen to be his favorite one. I think I can learn on it but you defiantly get what you pay for. The best thing about it is the case.
