I think I can learn on it but you defiantly get what you pay for. The best thing about it is the case. You can defiantly tell when you hold it that itโ€™s cheaper materials so it doesnโ€™t have the best sound. The bow is ok. And for some reason the e string just wonโ€™t tune! My 8 year old loves playing music on just about any instrument she can get her hands on. She was so excited with this violin. Once we polished up the bow, it was instantly a success. This product has a pictures of everything included it's supposed to come with a book however if you read it doesn't say the book is included.... I was kind of disappointed I didn't get the book... try not to post the picture with things that aren't included with the item
