I recently purchased the Portzon 2 lb weights and overall, I'm pretty satisfied with my purchase. The weights are a good value for the price and they're well-made, with a solid feel to them. They're also very versatile – I've used them for a variety of exercises and they've worked well for all of them. One of the things I like most about the Portzon weights is their size and shape. They're small enough to be easily held in the hand, but they're also heavy enough to provide a decent challenge. The hexagonal shape also makes them easy to grip and prevents them from rolling around. I do have a couple of minor complaints about the weights, however. Firstly, the rubber coating is a bit thin and flimsy, and I'm not sure how long it will hold up to regular use. Secondly, the weights do have a slight odor to them, which is a bit off-putting. These are minor issues, however, and overall, I'm happy with my purchase. In summary, the Portzon 2 lb weights are a good value and well-made, with a solid feel and a convenient size and shape. They're versatile and work well for a variety of exercises, although the rubber coating is a bit thin and they do have a slight odor. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with my purchase and would recommend these weights to others.

These seem quite nice for the money. Nice padding. I bought the 4 lb for some hand PT exercises. My only issue is the space between the "ends" is a bit smaller than expected. I have other 3 and 5 lb weights and the distance is 4.5-5.5 inches. The distance here is slightly less than 3.5 inches. If you have large hands at all, it is likely too narrow, so measure how wide you palm is before ordering.

I was going to buy these from a box store, but one alone was $9.99. I got the black pair because they were the lower price and I don't need anything colorful. I just wanted a pair of 5 lb weights downstairs. I have a pair that I keep upstairs, but I got tired of carrying them downstairs if I wanted to switch to 5lbs. i know I should make the effort, but sometimes you just don't feel like it. The cover is pretty nice. It's got a slight texture, but should hold up well.
