I bought this to do my masks and other small items between laundry loads. I live in a high-rise in Honolulu and going to the laundry room is not as easy as stepping into the next room like I’m used to. I feel like this is basically like washing in the sink but maybe not as well. I feel like it does not get the soap out even when I do a second rinse. I actually bought a kitchen salad spinner to put my things in and spin the water out of because this does not have a spinning basket. I did not have huge expectations but I did have more expectation than I am finding. I don’t think I would buy it again and would probably send it back if I had kept the box . I’ve used my washer on two camping trips now. It’s excellent when you know what to expect (and what not to expect). Capacity: I can fit two full children’s outfits, or 2 adult shirts, or one pair of adult pants (jeans probably wouldn’t agitate very much due to their thickness). It would take maybe 3-4 dish towels and possibly one bath towel (but not a full size beach towel). It would easily handle multiple pieces of baby clothing, bibs, cloth face masks, swim suits etc. Cleaning Capability: I use a tablespoon of liquid detergent for a full bucket of water. My clothes come out clean and fresh. I use the washboard lid to scrub out dirt or stains when needed. My son fell into muddy water and his jeans came out clean. But again, the agitation isn’t enough to thoroughly clean a pair of adult jeans. After the detergent cycle, I refill the bucket with fresh water for a rinse cycle. Purpose: I bought this to save me from having to kneel over the bath tub in my small RV and hand wash clothes. It does exactly that. I could get the same, possibly better, results if I wanted to spend my camping time scrubbing clothes in the bathroom. Instead, I plug this in outside and simply switch over laundry as it finishes. I’m able to pack fewer clothes and I can avoid public laundry facilities while on vacation. I am very pleased with this product and would highly recommend it. ... show more

I use it for merino wool undergarments. I wish this was a tad bit bigger with a more powerful motor, as it can wash 1 adult size t-shirt, but nothing more. Ideally it would be able to wash all my undergarments at once, that is 1 pair of sock, 1 boxer briefs and 1 t-shirt. However that's too much for this little machine. It is however quite small, but ideally I would have prefer a machine slight bigger with a much more powerful spinning mechanism. ... show more

Bought this for cloth diapers and it's been working amazingly. As long as you do small batches often, it cleans well after a second run. It runs super well with detergent and powder (we add hot water so it dissolve).

Seems to work okay. I can only wash one tshirt at a time and only a thin sweater at a time. I expected that. What I DID NOT expect was that the “directions” are woefully lacking, as is the trouble shooting section.

Returning and ordering a nicer one. Purchased specifically for baby clothes. Unfortunately, this one came with a bad leak. I place it in the sink to avoid the mess. But when I'm done with laundry for the day it's still a hassel to tilt it repeatedly at every angle to empty water from whatever compartment it wasn't supposed to get into. Size-wise I find it holds what i need, so no complaints there. Agitation is decent, and my clothes come out clean. But the ultrasonic ozone step imparts a smell that is offputting. I have a baby blanket in my lap right now that smells "ozoney" and I'm hoping to air the scent out. I really don't like it. The smell also comes out of the hole in lid during the washing cycle. I usually put something over the hole or just step away from the sink while it's washing to avoid breathing it in. All in all, still better than hand washing. I just need one that isn't defective. The media could not be loaded. Tried out this machine last night to wash my cloth face masks and it worked wonderfully. It was smaller than I thought, but I was only going to use it to wash small and/or delicate items. I was able to wash about 15 masks in 1 load. And this morning, I washed 1 scarf. The ultrasonic cleaner sounded like it was working. It was vibrating the water and the water turned gray. Not sure if my masks were that dirty or just some color dye coming out. The only downside is that you have to pour out the water and wring out the clothes, but that's only a minor inconvenience for me. I use an old salad spinner that I don't use anymore to wring out the excess water that I couldn't squeeze out--works great. ... show more
