I have arthritis in my hands, and I also have an elderly dog who wears little belly diapers. We wash the diapers by hand, but wringing them out is what kills my hands. We can dry them in our clothes dryer, but that takes a lot of energy, so I was hoping that the "spin cycle" on this unit would dehydrate the diapers to something close to wringing them out, so that I can just hang them to dry in a few hours. But this unit's spin cycle is either too small or too slow. I have used spin dryers at swimming pools, which you just stick your suit in and in about 20 seconds, it's try enough to put in your duffel bag without making everything else wet. Those spin dryers are about the same size as this unit's basket, but spin much faster. This basket spins about as fast as a full sized clothes washer's spin cycle, but since it is so small, there isn't as much momentum at play, and it will barely remove any water from the little diapers. On top of that, the little suction cups on the bottom of the unit aren't nearly good enough to hold it on a smooth surface for the spin cycle. I replaced them with some inexpensive suction cups that actually do the trick. (See the photo. I simply removed the 4 screws from the bottom, opened it enough that I could squeeze the existing ones enough to pull them out of the bottom, and replaced them with some screw on suction cups, and then screwed it back together). I also tried a full wash/rinse/spin cycle to see how it would be if I wanted to wash the diapers in this instead of washing them by hand. The thing does wash OK, but then you need to drain and rinse the unit before doing a rinse cycle for the contents. And the drain hose is useless, because you have to open the drain plug to put the hose on... (See the other photo... I suppose you could fix this by putting the plug in the end of the hose, or use a different rubber - not plastic - drain hose on, and then using a clip to keep the hose sealed while you're using it, and then remove the clip to drain...) But I am trying to imagine a scenario where using this would be better than just washing things by hand, and I really can't. It's cute, and it folds up nicely, but the functionality is not good enough to make it worth it.

I've made almost all of the sweaters I wear, plus I want to protect certain undergarments for as long as possible, so I use a lot of these mesh laundry bags. This one is just as good of quality as all my other ones. Right now the mesh feels a little stiff and coarse, but it will soften after a few washes. The quality of the fabric and stitching seems to be pretty good and I don't have any concerns about it holding up over time. The zipper glides smoothly, and it's held in place by the little elastic tab that you slide it under when it's closed. This bag is a little small for my shirts, but the perfect size for the undergarments, which is what I got it for. I'm sure I'll be using it for a long time.

I rounded up from a 3.5 to 4 star review for this wash bag. It is small, smaller than expected. The zipper seems quality. It is a fine mesh. We will see how it holds up.

This delicate wash laundry bag has a heavier nylon mesh material and will withstand years of regular washing. All the zippered areas are securely sewn; there don't appear to be any loose threads or areas that will eventually become unsewn. It has a zipper cover to protect your other clothing while washing - so there's no need to do separate loads. It's the perfect size for stockings, bras, undergarments, and lingerie. I'm happy I ordered this bag and confidently recommend it to others.

I use a mesh bag to hold my vacuum filters when I rinse them and toss them in the laundry. The mesh bag I previously used had lost its zipper and was difficult to use, so I ordered this one. I like this bag because it is made of very light material and won't stay wet after the filters are dry, like bags from heavier material will. It is just the right size to hold the both the filter and the pad beneath the filter without having extra material flopping around. One nice feature is that it has a loop of fabric for the zipper to tuck into. This secures the zipper and will keep it from clanging on the dryer barrel when drying. It will also keep the zipper from detaching like the one on my last mesh bag did. I'm very happy with this mesh bag.
