  • Basket size for spin cycle is what makes this a FLOP!
I just received this yesterday. Nothing mechanically was wrong but what I don't understand with the other glowing 4 & 5 star reviews is that the spin cycle function is a joke. My daughter and I were literally laughing. We tried out a load of one bikini (size adult small) and two pairs of panties (also size small). Washing feature was fine but honestly you achieve the same results if you just buy a sink tub for $3 and use your hand. However, when it comes to the spin cycle, you are given a cylinder basket to put the items in to be spun. The basket is as big as a small cereal bowl and we could only fit one pair of panties. We tried both pairs but the 2nd kept being flung out of the basket. So, if you're washing a pair of athletic socks, 2 pairs of panties and one simple small bra - you would have to spin each item by itself. Ehhhh.....no. It's easier just to hand wring everything. So, it's just easier to just wash items in sink or like I said, a small plastic tub and save the $$ on this. ... show more

  • Small, single item washer
I have done about 20 small loads so far. The small illustrated instruction sheet was useless. I did not realize the small basket was for spin. The first loads consisted of socks and undergarments. Worked okay. Once I removed the “spin” basket during washing I was able to wash one t-shirt at a time. Donot wash with bra straps as they run the risk of getting tangled in the agitator disk located at the base of the basin. I had to dismantle the agitator to release the strap. It is held on by a small screw under a plug. Easy to reassemble. The drain is fine but you will need to clear the drain hole as it can clog. The upper part of the drain is under the rotator disk. You can clear the drain without taking the disk off. The on/off buttons are fragile. You only need to press the on/off button to move through settings. As I did not receive any instructions, I had to figure this out. Do not put large items such as jeans or bath towels into little washer, they are too heavy for agitator disk. I fill up to the upper silicone line with warm water. I do multiple loads before refill. The rinse and spin is not worth the time. Wringing out garments is faster and removes more water. I rinse in a separate container. Overall, working fine. Four starts because of the lack of instructions and the need to dismantle the agitator for detangling of strap. No indication of amount of detergent to use. ... show more

  • Work well for small size clothes
Not suitable for x large clothes. Would work fine for socks and small clothes.

  • such a disappointment.
it’s not broken or anything, but it just doesn’t do it’s job, which is even worse. it did break at the FIRST use tho 😂 - the drain stopped draining. the lid wouldn’t close, popping off when you try to secure it in it’s place. the engine thing sounds miserable, and on the spin-drying part, with the spinning basket, it thrashes like it’s possessed, while doing 0 spin-drying. then, it’s not really clear what the draining hose is for. like, to block the drain, you have to take it off, but when draining, between opening the drain and attaching the hose, there’s a lot of water that will spill out directly out of the drain, so might as well but it above the sink or whatever, without using the hose. yk, when you buy such thing, you pay your money to make your life easier. but this thing doesn’t make it easier, if anything it makes it even more troublesome than handwashing. i broke 2 sweats trying to make it work for me, because i didn’t want to return it and look for something else. but it was hopeless. it looks good on the photoshopped pictures, but in practice it fails as a concept. i guess no washing machine works without a drum. if i were the manufacturer, i would discontinue it. it was born dead. i guess i’ll have to opt for a more expensive washer with a drum. at best, it would work as a toy for children. but not for washing anything. ... show more

  • Okay for washing, not so much for spinning
I received this today and was very excited to try it out. However, there was a problem right up front - the directions tell you to use the appropriate amount of detergent without telling you what that might be! It's a guessing game. But I put in a small amount of detergent (maybe a tablespoon) and 5 bras. The actual running of the wash cycle was very painless. The noise was not bothersome at all however.....After letting out the water (I ran it right by the sink so I didn't need to use the hose when draining) I pulled out my clothes, setting them in my dish drain, while I put in the "spin basket". Well, that only held one bra and the machine danced across the counter because of load balance issues. Once the "spin" cycle ended I still needed to wring my items out by hand and to top it off, getting the spin basket unhooked was way harder than I thought it should be. So I guess I'll use the wash cycle and hand wring the items rather than using the spin cycle. I do appreciate how it can be collapsed and for washing a few small things I'm pretty sure it will suffice. If anyone knows what the amount of detergent to use is I'd really appreciate the input! ... show more

  • Simple, portable washing machine
Ok for the price and meets the needed washing with ease of operative function. Spin dryer basket is not to the expected standard. Overall worth the money spent.

  • Easier/faster to hand wash
This is a toy! I understand that it’s designed for small things but it wasn’t big enough to wash a large shirt. The tub wasn’t large enough to fill with enough water to completely cover the shirt or agitate the part of the shirt that was on top so I had to run the cycle then take the shirt out and flip it over to wash the other part of the shirt. Motor whined. Drain hose is flimsy like a cheap straw. Can’t imagine it being durable. And the hose pops off if it’s not completely attached. You need to push and push to ensure a tight connection which is akward. ... show more
