This minwasher was a disappointment from the beginning, and doubly so considering the price. I thought maybe I could wash a pair of swim trunks, but it’s way too small for that (see picture). It’s not a good value. Pros: - put a couple light socks in it, add detergent and water, turn it on, and it will agitate everything. - this may make sense for camping, but even then I’d still rather wash things in a bucket or in a sink. Cons: - it feels like a child's toy. - I found the capacity was only enough for a pair of lightweight socks. - it can’t be charged when it’s working. - it’s not quiet. - it needs a full charge otherwise it will shutdown after a minute (at least mine did). - you’ll still need to rinse by hand the clothes you wash. - you’ll need to wash the machine out and let it dry after each “load”. - bizarre instructions telling you to “Call the Police” if there’s a motor blockage. - at $50 it’s WAY too expensive for what it does, which is probably why they’re offering a $20 coupon for it (and it still wouldn’t be a good value).

This is a cute novelty type item but to me that is all it is. It worked but it is very small allowing for only a few clothing items at a time. I would not take this with me while traveling, due to the room it would take up in a suitcase, I would rather just pack more of something else. Anything this can do, I can also do by soaking, washing and rinsing my clothes by hand. At home, I just bought a brand new washer and dryer that does more things than I know how to program it to do. You do a lot of filling with water, taking the water out and refilling types activity that leaves me thinking, I would have been done if I had just washed all my hand washables by hand. Dorm rooms normally have laundry areas on campus and I don't even think the agitation is strong enough for me to recommend to take this camping. Even in that scenario, I would just find a laundromat while out and about to wash the clothes and then hang them to dry at my campsite. It is cute, it is small, this will be on display in my utility room more like a decoration than anything else. I might see washing, just for the sake of keeping them separate from everything else, my nice hosiery in it, but again, I would just continue to hand wash them or use the handwash cycle on the new washing machine. I gave it two stars because it is cute.

I'll resonate with some of the other users on the practicality of the machine. It is very small for a washing machine, but it would work well for one pair of socks, underwear, or a small towel. It's a well built small device, and it doesn't leak, just keep in mind that it is about the size of a small fiction novel. I'd recommend it for novelty, but probability not everyday use, unless you do have a baby. This could potentially work well for baby clothing/reusable diapers.

I knew that the description said this was small, but I didn't expect it to be quite this small. I mean, this is comedically small, which is why I took a picture of it next to both the computer mouse and a sharpie for reference. I know that the product description showed someone washing a pair of socks in there, but I'm thinking it must be a pair of ankle socks. If you have a pair of crew socks or God forbid over the calf socks, I don't know if this thing is going to fit them both at the same time. It seems like a very well made product, the only problem is I can't really think of a situation in which you would need to wash just a pair of socks. I was expecting something maybe the size of a waste basket or one could wash maybe a shirt and underwear and socks at the same time, but this thing is size really small. If small is what you're after, this appears to be a very well made little machine, but just know that you're not going to fit a whole bunch into it at once.

I actually really like this thing. You have to pay attention to what it is and it's size, this isn't for washing a pair of jeans. I'd overall say it's much more useful for undergarments or even washcloth/dishcloth type of things. Mostly I see utility for travel, camping that sort of thing...or even emergency situations if you weren't able to use your real ones at home for whatever reason. At $50, it seems a bit expensive for the size being that it's pretty limited but for half that cost, I absolutely think it's worth it. As a mom, I can see multiple uses for this at home as well but again, it's small - don't get overly excited about what it can do for you. The shorter session seems just fine for most things that you would be able to use it for but I appreciate that you can choose a 10 minute session too. The battery holds up well for basic needs and it's a a simple charge of about 4.5 hours to get it fully charged again. It's small, feels and seems durable - I don't have any issues with leaking and it does what it says it does.
