Our apartment washer broke down so I got this. I wanted to love it because it is a great little washing machine. It just doesn't meet my needs. I watched so many videos and reviews that when I hit the purchase button I didn't realize this brand doesn't have a basket/ spin cycle to dry out some of water from my clothes. They are too soggy to hang dry in the bathroom with the fan on (especially if I were to use this laundry method on a regular basis). That being said, our apartment laundry room has an outside entrance so this would be a great alternative in the winter to stay caught up when it's freezing outside. I loved the size and ease of use near my kitchen sink. Filling and draining were a piece of cake with an oversized cup and/or a hand held sprayer to fill it. I did several loads to test out the machine These were the size of each load: Figuring out how much laundry detergent to use was a bit of a challenge -it doesn't take much! Underwear: 4 pair HandTowels& wash clothes: 4 Adult leggings: 1 pair.

I bought for hand wash, rags that don't fill a load, glad I did the 12L capacity. Do wish the motor was a little more powerful. I have a portable 13lb washer/spinner combo with the separate spinner bin which works amazing but it's too big for where we are temporarily. I do use a crank salad spinner to dehydrate and rinse, half the price of 'laundry' version and fits contents well. Have not tried spinner on this product, separate spinner keeps loads moving along to drying rack.

It holds 13L which is 3.43 gallons for your reference. The drain plug doesn't leak when the washer tub is full, the electrical cord is about two feet long. The washing function comes pretty close to an agitator and gets ALOT of gunk out of the clothes in little time. I believe you can also use it like a bucket and leave the clothes in there to soak if that's what you are looking for. I THINK IT MAKES AN ANNOYING high pitched noise but that's okay considering the other features. I do not intend to use the dryer/spin basket, it is MINISCULE TINY. You can purchase a laundry spinner from the Laundry Alternative which gets great reviews and has a bigger capacity. You can also consider the option from the Laundry Alternative of tumble washing clothes yourself but having to manually crank the device seem like a lot of work even if it is good aerobic exercise.

I bought this to clean the absorbent underwear I wear for my menstrual cycle. I gave it 3 stars because it'll only wash 1 pair at a time, so its power limit is lower than I thought (I wasn't expecting it to wash pants, but I figured 2 pair of period underwear would be doable and it can only handle one without causing it to error out and stop). It'll also error out if whatever you're washing gets tangled up in itself; I'm guessing that's a balance issue. Will continue to use, would not buy again.

I studied abroad in Europe and Africa and took this with me. I was able to get an adapter to use while I was there and it held up really well. I only used this to wash small clothing items. I this for about a year and no problems- just make sure you clean well after use and store in reliable place to avoid damage. I ended up giving it away to another student but I think this is a great product to travel with!
