I wasn’t aware this was a foldable unit, so when the box arrived, I thought I received the wrong item. But that was my mistake—once I took it out, I realized it's intentionally compact and foldable, which is actually a great feature. There was a little bit of assembly required for the middle rotating white drum, and while it wasn’t the easiest, it wasn’t impossible either. Once assembled, it quickly took shape and was ready to use. Of course, this isn’t meant for large loads—I wouldn't throw big clothes in here. It's perfect for small batches, like when we forget to wash baby clothes or, in my case, I use it for underwear and other small items. It spins well and gets the job done efficiently. I really liked the simple control button and built-in timer. We store it folded inside our bathroom closet, and when needed, I just place it on the countertop by the sink. I wasn’t expecting much from something that folds down smaller than my cat, but yo—this little washer came out swinging. I pulled it out the box, popped it open, filled it up with some gym socks and a few tank tops, hit that switch, and stood there like… did this thing just get to work that fast? It’s got that hum that lets you know it’s handling business without being all loud about it. This thing is a beast for road trips. I threw it in the back of the SUV when we hit the Blue Ridge for a weekend. Didn’t take up more space than a cooler. I was rinsing out undies and tees at the cabin while the rest of the crew was fighting over shower time. If you’ve ever had to do sink laundry with a water bottle and hotel shampoo, you already know why this thing’s a win. At home, I’ve been keeping it in the bathroom closet. It’s perfect for those “oops I forgot to wash the baby’s onesie” moments. Also came in clutch when I needed to rinse out a couple of makeup cloths without tossing them in with the regular load. The fold-down thing? Magic. Flattens out like a pancake when you’re done, no fuss, no weird dripping. These portable washing machines can be a little finicky but come in clutch when you need them. I've used them for everything from washing a few items that got soiled during the day, clothes in hotels, while camping, and for legos/toys. If you do wash legos or smaller things in them then I suggest putting them in a pillow case or something because the little pieces can get stuck under the rotating part. This specific washing machine has pretty simple buttons but they are a little hard to press at times. It also does not have a clip for the drainage tube. You have to figure out a way to clip it higher yourself or it will just drain from the start since the tube is lower or at the same height as the hole. Kind of annoying as other models have a clip on the back side to keep it upright. If you try to add the tube after the fact then it will of course spray water everywhere as soon as you undo the plug. The instructions leave a lot to be desired so I would suggest just looking up online for most of how to use it and then refer to the manual for specific button presses. But basically you just throw in your clothes, fill to water above the clothes, add detergent if needed (only a small amount). The basket is only for spin drying. If you put it in while washing then it will come out as the washing machine rotates back and forth in wash mode versus one direction in spin dry mode. When the cycle is done you empty the water out. Overall a nice little washing machine with some quirks. But if you take the time to use it correctly it works great.
