After using my projector outside for a backyard movie, I realized I needed to upgrade. My previous projector was older, clunky, and the picture was almost impossible to see unless its 30 minutes past dusk. On long summer nights, this means its useless until nearly 10 PM, but even fall weeknights meant pushing it too late for a school night. I ordered this projector as an upgrade. It was less expensive than the one I have been using, but the technology has improved dramatically making this a true upgrade. 1. Contrast: This is the reason for the upgrade. My last projector was difficult to see if there was any background light at all. This one performs drastically better with a vibrant and contrasting picture even in low light. The picture quality supports high resolution 4K. 2. Portability: This projector is really small despite being quite powerful. It is barely the size of small notebook. The case is thin, sleek, and it arrives packaged in a small sculpted box that is durable enough to keep for storage. Its very lightweight. 3. Functionality: Its super easy to set up this projector. You can position it anywhere and on any surface as a base to project. The projector does not have to be positioned flat, you can place it sideways even and its easy to set and optimize. It does well on a 100 inch screen. 4. Operability: This projector has many options for set up and operation. It connects using wires or wirelessly using HDMI, AV or USB connections or you can connect to a move source using a wifi connection. It is compatible with apple or android and it has built in apps so you can stream directly from the device. A remote control is included to help with set up. 5. Sound: The speakers are ok, but speakers on projectors are essentially back up as most everyone uses external speakers to boost sound. At first I though this would be just another gimmicky projector but I was immediately impressed with the packaging. The picture quality is fantastic and the bulb is super bright! I am super happy with its size as well. it is a very compact apparatus and is very sleek in design. I would recommend this to anyone in the market for a new projector. 10/10 ... show more

    • Doesn't work without remote!
I was so excited to use this for a conference and accidently forgot remote in the hotel room. we all learned that buttons at the top are useless and barely respond so I returned it because what if u end up u loosing remote :( picture quality and everything else was fine.

This project is really nice. Yeah I hooked up to my phone very easily. Easier than any other of the projectors I’ve ever had. And it has YouTube on it which I love. It is one of the better projectors option wise that I’ve seen. Nice quality picture as well

The media could not be loaded. I was sent this for review and honest opinion. My frame of reference on the high end is with my Optoma P1 UST 4k projector and on the portable mini side a RIF6 480p projector. ## Image Quality ## Probably the most important consideration when looking at a projector is about image quality and brightness. The image coming out of the projector can look too saturated when looking at people’s faces and unfortunately I couldn’t find any image calibration settings. This was an issue with both the built in apps or my Roku. I added a video but it was difficult for the camera to properly capture the projected image and looks much better in person. Overall and despite the saturation issues, the quality was pretty solid for a 720p projector at this price point of $240 at time of writing. This projector has a really solid lamp for the size and has no problem throwing a 60in screen although I could not recommend this for bright day time use. You can see in some of my pictures where I had it running in my bedroom with the overhead lights on and had a very usable brightness. With the lights off it was plenty bright with a theater-like experience. ## Usability ## The fan is pretty loud but once you start watching something it’s easily forgotten about. I consider the speakers the weakest link on the projector and would highly suggest connecting to any external speaker either through Bluetooth or 3.5mm AUX because the audio out of the internal speakers sounds like a tin can. The menu interface is running Android and is very intuitive and easy to use. I downloaded and installed Netflix but seemed to be an older version of the app but worked fine regardless. While I was able to test YouTube, Netflix, and Prime Video directly on the projector I also connected my Roku and worked great but it was annoying that I couldn’t get it to default to HDMI input whenever it turned on. ## Overview ## At this price point you get a pretty amazing little projector and if you want to upgrade to something with better picture quality you will be looking at paying at least 2x-3x more. Things I like - Super compact - Bright for the size - Works out of the box - Full sized HDMI input - IR sensor on front an back so no matter how you install the remote will work Things I don’t like - Over saturated image on people’s faces - Can’t set HDMI as a default input - No image adjustment settings ... show more

    • Bright picture, easy to setup
The projector provides a bright image, and with the use of the manual focus on the side, a clear picture as well. It was easy to connect to my wifi, and was easy to log in to my services. The odd thing was that when I connected the Bluetooth, the remove stopped working. All in all, a nice compact projector that's easy to use and has a nice picture. The speakers are small, though, so I recommend using external speakers for it. ... show more
