  • I love this thing
I bought this for a camping trip that was canceled. Since then, I've used it for a power outage to charge my computer and cell phone. It takes a lot to run the power down on this. I was worried I bought too little of a power station. I'm very happy. Works as advertised. I have zero complaints.

  • Works Well, Charges Well From Wall Or From Solar Panel, Powered A 45W Fan For About 10 Hours
This is my first foray into the "solar generator" product arena. I was looking for something that I could use to ensure that I have power for basic electronics while camping, road tripping and in case of power outages. I often need to power a laptop, charge camera batteries and related electronics. Up to this point I've always had to use the power outlets in campground bathrooms or even run the car engine to generate power for things like that. This seemed like it would be a good alternative. I didn't spend much time researching these things or comparison shopping. I saw this was about 300Wh and 82,500mAh which is about 3X the mAh rating of the largest USB power banks I have. In the spring of 2022, this had a list price on Amazon of $249 and a 50% coupon. I bought two of them since they were only $125.00 each. That was much cheaper than any comparable unit with similar storage capacity. What does 300Wh mean? It means that if you have an electronic device that requires 30 watts of power, this battery should power it for about 10 hours. If you have something that takes 50 watts of power, this device should power it for about 6 hours. What does the 82,500mAh rating mean? To put it in perspective, an iPhone 6s has a battery capacity of 1715 mAH. When full, this Marbero "generator" could charge the iPhone 6S about 48 times. The iPhone 13 Pro Max has battery with a capacity of 4,352 mAh. When full, this Marbero "generator" could charge the iPhone 13 Pro Max about 18 times. So far I've only used these at home and haven't been out camping with them. I've charged them from the wall and with solar panels. The solar panels were 100W panels and generally it does seem that a 100W solar panel will fully charge this unit in about 8 hours or so. Some solar panels seem to work better than others. While I haven't use a ton of solar panels, the best one I've found to pair with this generator is the "Luvknit 100 Watt Portable Solar Panel for Power Station". That one comes in somewhere between $160 and $200 usually and has the cord and adapter to charge this Marbero Generator and can charge things via USB as well. So far I've primarily used this "generator" to charge up a cel phone. During the recent heat wave I decided to use it to power a "PELONIS 42’’ Oscillating Tower Fan" The fan is a 45W fan so I expected this power bank to power it for 6 or 7 hours. It ended up powering the fan for more like 9-10 hours. It seems like either this may have a bigger battery than stated in the description or the fan doesn't use as much electricity as I expected it to use. So far this seems like a good unit especially at the $125 price point. It seems well made. It is fairly small. It is easy to carry with the strap on top of it. It does not have a light built into it. It would be nice if it did but it's not a big deal. The battery in this seems to work a little bit like the battery in an old iPhone. At this point I don't know if that is a cause for concern or not. When running the fan noted above, the power bank shut down before the battery power indicator dropped to zero. I think it was somewhere between 10 and 15 percent when it stopped. When I plugged it into the wall to recharge it, it started at one perfcent and quickly went up to 15% in less than a minute before starting to charge at what seemed like a more normal pace. Since this is the only generator I have, I don't know if that is normal or not. Regardless of that, it did run the fan mentioned above about 10% longer than I expected it would. As you can see in the photo, the LCD screen on the front of this device has a reflective coating on it. When looking at it inside it is easy to see the info you want to see on it. When outside in the sun it is VERY difficult to see anything on the screen. I'm not sure why they would make that reflective. When you order this unit it does NOT come with the adapters needed to connect it to a solar panel. Normally those come with the solar panel but some solar panels do not come with the adapter for this specific model. If you are buying this and plan to use a solar panel to charge it, try to order a panel with a wide range of adapters in the hope of getting one that will make it possible to hook your solar panel up with this Marbero generator. Since I've only used this a few times over a few weeks I can't speak to the longevity of it. What is is about this one that makes it so they can sell it for $125 while others that look quite similar typically seem to sell for $300? I don't know. So far this seems like an excellent solar "generator" that holds a good amount of power and charges as you would expect it to charge and as the product description claims. At $125 is seems like a steal and probably the best deal for one of these with this capacity on Amazon. At $250, it is probably still a good deal though at that price I'd care more about how long it lasts and at this point I can't make any judgment about that. If you see this at $125, I'd say definitely buy one or two of them. If it goes back up to $179 or even $249 it is probably still a pretty good deal though at $249 there are more competing units to look at. ... show more

  • Excellent quality, great price and works well
I purchased this as an emergency power source. I also purchased a 100w portable solar array from the same company. It will power my work laptop, 34in monitor and phone charger for at least 6hrs. When you hook up the solar it keeps up the charge in full sun while using it. It is built very well and also works well. ... show more

  • Offers peace of mind…
Plenty of power to run a water filled air cooler, charge a laptop or phone. Running a water filled air cooler for 7 hours (during a power failure) and the power pack dropped from 100% charged to 91%. I’m 100% happy with this battery.

  • These are BAD***Updated Review***
The media could not be loaded. ***Updated Review*** after testing a few units the screen fell off the front of multiple units and they stopped holding power. I returned all the units I purchased and still have not received my refund after the date it supposed to be posted. I now think this company and their products are not very good. And horrible customer service getting refunded.****Testing it with a full size bedfan right now. Also used it for a 125w heater coil today as well! Seems very high quality for what I paid for it, so much so I ordered a second. $120 at the time of the review. Will update after trip with results but this would definitely help during a power outage! Hope this helps. ... show more
