This hang board is just what i was looking for to train my fingers and was easy to hang from my pullup bar with the rope provided. -1 star because the knot instructions were written by someone who did not know how this product was meant to be used and should be ignored. Just go through the middle like in the online pics and make a simple knot to get the length you want. ... show more

I ordered this fingerboard for my husband to use at home, and he has been training with hanging weights to build finger strength for climbing. The quality is pretty good, and he has not noticed any rough spots on either board. The wood is smooth, the different pocket depths are useful for progression, and it is easy to hang and adjust with the included ropes. It is lightweight and packs easily, so he can use it anywhere. Finally a small, easy to carry fingerboard. Whoever thought of the triangle idea for the multiple depths did a great job. I was able to take this with me to my parents' house over the holiday weekend, used other ropes and carabiners to attach to a big branch, and got in some hanging exercises while I was there. ... show more

My kids and I are having fun with this. They like it because they now have something where they can get a win over daddy. The rope that it comes with is plenty strong and holds a knot well. I hung mine by running the rope end through the center hole and then tying a prussic knot so that its height can be adjusted. There are some hard edges on the inside that you might want to sand down. They don't bother me any. The product listing doesn't show it, but one of the best uses for this is as a lifting implement. Just tie it to some weights an lift away. ... show more
