First of all assembly was very easy and only took about a minute or so. This is a solidly constructed go kart though it is a bit on the small side. I would hesitate to recommend this for anyone older than about 6 or 7 due to the small size. My 7 year old son is barely able to fit comfortably on it and he is one of the smallest kids in his class. I doubt an averaged size 8 year old would be able to use this comfortably. With that said, the mopping feature wasn't as good as I hoped it would be. The mop needs to have water added every few seconds since when driving the go kart around the house it dries up extremely quickly. I tried pre-wetting the floors a bit then let the kids drive around and mop up the water but I realized that the water makes it very slippery and the wheels are not able to get enough traction to move when there is already water on the floor. Additionally the mop pad tends to scrunch up a bit when turning since it doesn't stay in place too well. I wouldn't really recommend this for use with the mopping feature. When we removed the mop and just used it as a normal go kart it performed very well. It can go very fast (a bit faster than I would like), but the max speed can be adjusted. It is easy to adjust the speed which can be a double edged sword since it is done by a dial on the top front that can be knocked accidentally or a young child can increase the speed by playing with it. My children took turns riding the go kart on the sidewalk to our neighborhood tennis courts to ride around there and it performed flawlessly. It only had minor trouble getting up large bumps in the sidewalk but aside from that it was able to go over the small sidewalk joints just fine. When the kart was set to full speed I had to run to keep up with them. The only minor handling issue was when they tried to do a sharp turn while going full speed the kart tended to tip over a bit but they never fell off. As it got darker outside, the LED lights on the front became more visible and looked really cool. It also doubles as a safety feature since others can clearly see it. Overall this is a fun go kart for young children. The mopping feature was not as good as I hoped and I probably won't set that up again, but as a regular go kart this is a lot of fun and performs very well.

This is a fun little go-kart for both my 4 and 7 year olds. We love the multiple speed setting. We keep it slow inside the house but outside they can zoom around in our cul de sac. We don't really use the mop/sweet feature so being able to tuck it away is a nice feature.
