  • It's big and sturdy
Color: Blue Pink
I had a round tub that used the fiberglass rods for 4 years to take a weekly or so bath with. This is much bigger and much neater to be able to store and put away regularly. I love that it can fold into a neat rectangle. It is heavier even empty than the other. I use a pond pump to empty it so have to pick it up to dump the last little bit but I might get a pump that can connect to the tube instead. I pump it into the sink. The only bad point is the bottom drain. The cap on that is way to easy to accidentally just knock off moving around in the bath. I don't plan to use that though so have filled it with silicon. I'm 5'9" and this is very roomy. ... show more

  • Does the job
Color: Blue Pink
6.3 and I can fit in this. Definitely nice to have! Also it will have alot weight in it once the water add up. So pick where you want it at when you fill it up with water.

  • Sturdy Portable Tub
Color: Blue Pink
This portable tub is impressively deep. At 6’1”, when I sit cross-legged in it, my head is the only part above the walls. That said, it’s a snug fit—my knees press against the sides, and there isn’t much room to move around. The tub is well-insulated, with sturdy walls and a durable base. The exterior material feels strong and seems resistant to punctures or tears. However, if you’re using it outdoors, I’d still recommend placing it on the smoothest surface you can find to avoid any potential damage. I’ve primarily used it as an ice bath for post-workout recovery. While I can’t speak to the science behind ice baths, I can confidently say this tub keeps the water cold. BRRR! The only thing it’s missing is an insulated cover to keep the water cold for multiple uses throughout the day. We also plan to use it as a bathtub for our kids during camping trips, though we haven’t had the chance to try that out yet. As for storage, the Amazon listing claims it’s quick to fold and unfold, but my experience has been a bit different. Unfolding is easy, but folding it back up has been a challenge. Each time, it’s taken me longer than I’d like to admit. Maybe I’ll get better with practice, but it’s worth mentioning if you’re looking for something truly hassle-free. For $89.99, I think this portable tub is a great value. It’s sturdy, functional, and versatile for a range of uses. ... show more

  • Cute, but not worth the trouble
Color: Blue Pink
As someone who LOVES hot baths and has been thinking of trying one of these folding tubs for a long time, I can now report that these small tubs are not worth the trouble unless you have just the right set-up. If you want to take a relaxing bath, just find a real tub or settle for a hot shower. If you don't head my advice, then have a fool-proof drain plan before you begin. My experience: It took me six weeks to finally find a time to try this out because as much as I wanted to, I knew that it would be a bit of a process and I wanted to wait until I knew that I had the time and energy. I placed the tub in my corner shower, and it fit perfectly. I began filling it with the showerhead on full-blast at the hottest setting (the showerhead says 2.5 GPM). It took about 12 minutes to get the tub about 1/4-1/3 full. I was impatient and didn't want to wait longer, so I decided it was good enough (thank goodness I didn't fill it up any more, as I found out later!). The actual bath experience was ok, a nice soak for about 30 minutes until the water got too cold. The tub is a good size for me (5'-6" tall, 130lbs). I displaced the water enough to bring the level up to about 12" total depth. The tub is very tall, too tall in my opinion, but it could be filled above your head if you have the time to fill it, or use a little seat inside if you don't want to sit directly on the floor. Even after leaving this outside, unfolded, for two days, the plastic smell was still quite strong, and I found it difficult to relax and enjoy the water while smelling the plastic and thinking about how bad the chemicals might be that were mixing with the warm water and being absorbed into my skin. Yet, I was still thinking it might be worth it because I love hot baths so much, but what was to come was the real determining factor: draining. When I placed this in my shower, I thought that I was doing a good thing in case it leaked and that it would be so easy to just pull the plug and let it drain in the shower by itself. I realized my error too late; the weight of the water completely blocked the drain, so when I started to let the water out of the tube on the side, it just began to fill the shower around the tub, soon to overflow into the whole bathroom. I know, I'm an idiot for not thinking of it blocking the drain first, but it was too late. I managed to lift the edge of the tub with the water weight just enough to reveal the shower drain. Commence 30 minutes of slowly draining the tub through the two little drain holes while lifting/pulling/shifting/folding/manipulating the tub to try to get the water out without flooding the bathroom. To make matters worse, one of the plugs kept closing from the force of the water, so I needed to keep reopening it and then readjusting the tub again. More than an hour after I began setting up the tub, with only half of that actually relaxing, I had finally gotten most of the water out, but it wasn't possible to get it all. I will probably need to carry the whole heavy/wet thing back downstairs and empty/dry it outside tomorrow. My fingers hurt from pulling on the plastic and trying to lift the tub to clear the drain. I am so much more tired than when I began. I have no idea what I would have done if I had filled the tub any more and made it too heavy to lift. I considered if using the tub outside of the shower and then draining onto the shower via the supplied tube would be a solution worth trying again, but the risk of the tube coming off and flooding my second floor bathroom/bedroom is not worth it. Unless you have a folding tub with the drain plug opening right into your shower drain, or you have a large shower where you can place the tub so that it doesn't cover the shower drain, then I don't see a way for this to work well enough to be worth it. What I like: This tub is a nice light pink with an ombre light blue bottom which I like a lot better than the mostly black tubs that you see available elsewhere. I liked that this tub just unfolds and is ready to fill, no pipes to connect or tubes to inflate. I like that the walls are extra high, which could mean that you can rest your head against the wall when sitting in the tub. The strap and clip that goes around the tub when folded is really helpful for storing it. It sits nicely in a corner of my bathroom and matches my pink and blue decor. What I don't like: It's a bit heavy because of the partical board that makes up the rigid sides. The drain tube of the side is too high to drain the last several inches of water, so you need to somehow lift the tub and expose the smaller plug on the bottom (which has a habit of closing itself while draining). The plastic smell is unpleasant and distracting, and potentially unhealthy. The tub is too tall, and I can just barely step over the side to get in/out. The inner top edge of the plastic is a raw edge that it not colored pink, and it looks unfinished (you have lots of time to look at this unfinished edge when sitting in the tub surround by the edge above your head). Perhaps this would be a good tub if used outside, but if health is your goal, I would still be concerned about the plastic chemicals that you can clearly smell. The product is as advertised (hence three stars), just not worth the trouble to actually use, in my opinion. ... show more

  • Love this unconventional tub
Color: Blue Pink
I'm using this as an occasional hot bath. I'm not really into the whole ice bath thing. What I am is old and stiff. My house only has a shower which is huge. I set this up and fill it with warm water and now I'm able to soak my poor aching joints. It is very easy to set up, full and drain. Kind of a hassle when it comes to cleaning. I find it worth it for a good night's rest occasionally without feeling like I'm always waiting for the daily pains to fade. Hight recommend this tub especially if you are in a situation similar to mine. ... show more
