So I recently redid my bathroom due to a water leak and replace my tub/shower combo with just a shower, but I love my baths! Due to a knee issue, I felt a low threshold shower was a better option, but I missed my baths greatly. I tried several other tubs that were round, but they were too hard to get up and out. This freestanding tub is the same shape as a regular tub which gives me more room in the tub and allows me to stand up and get out when I use it. This is a perfect solution for me and works great. For those with a center drain (not an issue for me) you may need to come up with a creative solution to drain the tub (such as Drain Tiles, Vented Floor Tiles, Draining Shower Mat for Bathroom Pool Kitchen Locker Room) to put on the shower floor before filling the tub.

This portable bathtub does work well. But don't use it inside. Mine leaks a bit from the bottom plug. We got this for when we remodel our bathroom in out single bathroom home. I'm glad we tested it on our carport first. The bottom plug seeps water I've tried it a couple times and even used a hair dryer to soften the plug and make sure it's not deformed. I've ended up just using pool patch glue to seal it shut. This works great otherwise. If your using it outside it's realy not going to be an issue though.

I made the mistake of setting up this tub inside my standing shower. When I went to drain it, the tub was covering the shower drain. I ended up needing to use my heavy duty outdoor water pump to drain the tub into the sink since it's all I had on hand. Second try I placed the tub outside of the shower and used the side drain to go into the shower to drain afterwards. Still didn't work as the last 4 inches wouldn't drain and had to lift the tub to get the rest to drain, which was very heavy and not practical. Finally, I purchased a small pool water pump that is meant to drain pool covers. Much less stressful after taking a relaxing batch. I would recommend purchasing one of you want worry-free draining.

My husband and I like the bathtub is a little small for him but it works well for soaking our backs and so we only have a shower so it's a nice change from standing up all the time it doesn't leak it's easy to clean and easy to empty

It arrives in a folded position. Lightweight, you can move it around to see where it would be best to use. The sizing allows you to put it in some showers. It has two drains. One drain on the bottom and one drain on the side that also functions as a way to fill it, if you have a hose that does so. Turn on the shower, and all the water goes into the tub. A small pillow came with it, and I filled it with water. If needed, you can take a side down while filled easily for whatever reason. Height is higher than a tub, but the tubing and sides flexible. Easy to clean. It drains fast as long as the hole is clear on the bottom. You can prop a sponge under the tube near the bottom drain hole, and it will drain exceptionally quickly. Handy to have on hand for company, if you have a pet could make it their personal tub, and can be taken outside for some water pleasure. Here in North Texas, we have water restrictions and water rationing for part of the year. Good piece of equipment to fill up in the house for water storage. For the outside, a temporary solution to take care of domestic animals if the usual ways not enough to prevent heat exhaustion. It could even be used to collect some rainwater to transfer to smaller containers temporarily. Only concern is the vertical side tubes do not lock in but simply pivot into position. Be sure the vertical tube is in full position when you go to get out since the side will fold a bit if you lean or use the side to push up. All in all a versatile piece of equipment to have and folds up for storage.
