I was excited to use this product. After a test run I plugged it into straight into an American outlet and it didn't work. I tried plugging it into a surge protector outlet to see if it would work. It still didn't work. I wasn't able to try it out before the return window closed. That was my mistake. This is a great garment bag style dryer that works well, but quicker for smaller items. Warmer toward the top, but not toward the floor. There's no internal hanger, so a plastic one with clips on each side zipped to the top of the hanger is fine. I tried an entire sheet but it took 2 days intermittently. It's nice on cold days. I unplug the regular power cord when asleep, but it has an automatic shut off. Sometimes the button doesn't respond right away to shut it off. ... show more

    • in the right circumstances, this could be great, but think about it before purchasing
when I first tested this, I mistakenly detached the entire bag until from the dryer unit, which was a total pain to reattach. Once I got it all put back together and detached the bag properly, everything went pretty smoothly and I can see how, under the right circumstances, this unit could be fantastic (its a great concept), but its uses are limited and there is room for improvement. I tested this twice, once by placing two small adult sized t-shirts on hangers inside the bag and once by throwing two full sized bath towels in there. Both tests were done using the 3-hour full heat mode checked after 1 hour. While its a great idea to be able to put things on a hanger inside the bag, you lose a full 7-inches of space (or thereabout depending on the hanger) at the top and unfortunately, that means anything longer than a small crop top will be bunched up at the bottom of the bag and not dry as well. After an hour, the t-shirts were mildly damp to the touch at the bottom and completely dry and wrinkle free everywhere else. Obviously, dry time depends on the fabric and size. The towels, just thrown in the bottom of the bag, dried really well - one was totally dry and the other still slightly damp which actually surprised me since they just sat at the bottom of the bag the entire time and I expected them to not be dry at all! Note: this claims to sterilize and remove odors but I did not test for that. Not sure how you test for sterilization but there were absolutely no odors after drying (and none at the start either). One BIG limitation is the roughly 63-inch electrical cord. You'll have to find a place to hang this close to an outlet - no USB charger, just old-school plug in (worth noting if you plan on taking this camping). I do like it's compact size and touch-button controls (note: it took longer to shut down than expected so be patient), I DO NOT like the cord, but I do like the way it looks (for what that's worth). At this price point, I would have liked to have seen a USB charging option and a larger bag capacity. I do think however that with a little forethought, this can be a useful product - it definitely has its place, but I would recommend really thinking first about how you want to use it and taking note of its limitations before purchasing so there's no buyers remorse - especially at this price point. ... show more

We bought this for our cruise this fall. Very small and compact. It worked great to dryer clothes in a small amount of time. Easily fit in a suitcase. A little loud to leave on while you’re sleeping, but overall great product.
