The media could not be loaded. I am actually pretty shocked that this works! Pleased, but surprised. I didn't set up all the suction cups and such, since I got it as a gift. I was mostly just concerned about the puck actually working. It takes two AAA batteries (not included) and works very smoothly. Now, the battery compartment does not sit flush to the puck once the batteries are in, the battery itself won't go all the way in, but that doesn't effect function. The puck is pretty lightweight so I could see it flipping during vigorous play. But I bought it for a preschooler so I'm not too worried. Overall, pleased with this purchase. I'm sure my nephew will love it ... show more

We don't have a lot of room in our house at all so we don't really have any space for an air hocky table and the kids always love playing air hocky at all the arcades, so this is the next best thing! my husband and kids were excited when i pulled this out on our last family game day. it's simple to set up just have to find a flat enough surface, small and compact so it's easy to store, and easy enough for even my toddlers to play around with. i like the fact as well that i can bring it along on trips or wherever we go for the kids to play with and keep them occupied while visiting friends or family. ... show more

This is so fun! It has traveled with us to a couple games so far and is such a big hit with the kids! It’s really light weight and easy to tote around. The game itself is quick to set up and get going. The puck glides really nicely. Clever little gift or stocking stuffer!

The air hockey game came with a broken anchor which caused too much slack with the barrier string. The hockey puck flew off my counter top and broke after 10 minutes of play. The goals are too small as well. It will take too long before someone would score. More of a young kids game. Play it on a low table with a carpeted floor to avoid breakage. ... show more

This is great for what it is. It's fun. What it is NOT is the regular super-fun air hockey game on a standard air hockey table. It also isn't the $500 that a real air hockey table would cost. But it's still a lot of fun...just like tossing basketballs into one of those over-the-door mini hoops is fun, but not the same as a real basketball on a real basketball court. This is a fun air hockey set. It’s super simple to set up on a table or the floor. We put ours on the floor and used some pool noodles as bumpers for the sides. My kids had a blast playing air hockey with this set. It’s a decent quality set.

    • It’s a cheap toy that is not made well and quickly falls apart.
Hard to find something I liked because it only lasted about an hour. You can’t play it on a table because the crappy pice of string they give you does not stop the puck and it flys off the table. Don’t buy it!

Not sure what the boys are going to do with the string that is supposed to work as a bumper of some type. However once the battery went in it was all she wrote. I even got down and played with them.
