Got these for my daughter who like to build things like lego and the like. Figured it was something she and I could build together. She loves these! They are awesome for the rainy days where you are stuck inside and looking for something quiet to do. However, 2 glaring issues with them. 1. The wood that is used is crap putting it nicely. Much of it delaminates when breaking it out of the skeleton and especially in the marble run, it kept cracking when trying to flex it to fit the model. 2. She is a steady handed kid and rode the struggle bus putting the screws in. Due to the tiny size of some of the part, assembly can be difficult for the kids which I think took some of the fun from her side. I'm actually an engineer/fabricator and was able to get around the issues by gluing the broken parts and 3D printing some reinforcements where needed. However, as a fair warning, there may be models that some can't complete due to parts simply breaking. ... show more

Price speaks for the material within the package. From the four projects that came, only two of them functioned after completion and the other two did not work. The wood is rather cheaply made as it broke easily under pressure.

Got these for when I had a group of 3 kids for a day. Box says 20-45 mins to assemble. Flashforward 3 hours later and they are finally complete and the tears had dried. The kids were super proud and loved the end result, but the instructions were NOT user friendly. I did 90% of all but one and even I was getting frustrated.
