I love these lip tints. I bought this set to get the color Lola. I had bought the Donna and Penny separately before this purchase. The colors are rich, perfect for my light-medium complexion with warm undertones. The texture is smooth and creamy. I may need to reapply it again within the day but the color seems to stay. I sometimes carry the tube in my pants pocket. Body warmth softens the balm without melting it. A trick to getting the balm out of the paper tube without damaging the tube is to push the balm up out of the tube and then gently push the balm back in. It seems to break the seal made by the balm. My tube are pretty much the same as when I got them. I used another brand similar to this style. Those tubes more easily crimped with use, making it hard to put the product back. The Poppy & Pout hasn’t done this for me. The Poppy & Pout also gets a EWG score of 3 for using better ingredients. ... show more

I’m 68 years old. I have tried every nude known to man. They are never quite right. I bought the love & light set of 3. They are all perfect varying shades of nude and now I’m probably too old to wear them, lol. Not really a fan of the packaging. I know it’s biodegradable, but I got one pushed up and almost never got it pushed down enough to close. I have used a touch of a colored gloss to give a hint of color but not enough for a glossy shine. If you pull orange and aren’t happy with it, or wish for a cooler tone, these will work for you. ... show more

I wanted to love this so badly. The very light opaque colors wash my lips out so I look unwell, or like Im wearing zinc and the mica gets caught in every dry bit making my lips look powdery and broken. The formula smells lovely and is very smooth, but not for me sadly.

I love the packaging for this product! From the outermost box to the container this product is in, everything is recyclable yet doesn’t look cheaply done. In regards to the product itself, it goes on smoothly and feels so nice on. I personally am not one to wear lipstick often so this was the perfect everyday lip color as it remains sheer. This is my second batch of tinted lip balms that I have ordered through Poppy and Pout. They are a little darker since I have tan fair skin, but I'll try them in the winter months. I loved the idea of recyclable packaging, and the ingredients list looked great. Unfortunately, when I received the product, I did not realize there was such a high amount of shimmer/frost, which looks totally 80’s or early 2000’s to me. I liked the highly pigmented colors, but the shades are way too light for the majority of skin tones! I have fair but warm skin complexion. The lighter two of the three shades were way too light even for my skin. The third shade I liked enough to hopefully use despite the shimmer, but once I pushed up the tube, it would not push back down, and when closed stuck to the cap, rendering it useless. These are so soft and moisturizing and add just the right amount of color. My lips are so soft the second I put this on. I love the variety of colors offered. Faye is my favorite-the perfect light-weight nude color with just a touch of shimmer. You can also build up the color by putting on a second or third layer. The packaging is sooo good too. I was dying to try this because I love a good lip balm, but I was disappointed with the product. The cardboard tubes took some getting used to, and they’re not that easy to use. Out of the 10-pack, there are only about three colors that are flattering on me. The pigment in the lighter colors is almost white (or at least it was on me). The minty scent was very nice, but I recommend making sure your lips are exfoliated and moisturized if you want to use this. The balm itself is not that moisturizing, and it doesn’t glide on.
