The Pooluly parka hood is Not detachable, only the faux fur. The parka is not down insolated, only with some polyester material. Not a good fit.

I wore this for the first time a few days ago when the temperature was 25 degrees and windy. I had a vest on underneath the jacket and while shoveling I was just slightly cold, and it was very good at repelling the wind. I do though wish there was a drawstring on the hood otherwise a decent jacket for the price. ... show more

My initial search was for a down parka. This appeared with "down" in the description. In searching through the specs, the term "polyester" appears under insulation. The insulating material appears to be some sort of heavy and dense batting.....Definitely disappointing!
