I received these and one of the sticks was broken in half, but the box was ok. Amazon replaced them and I have to send the broken one back, which is annoying. The sticks themselves are good for my small room that has a bumper pool table in it. I don't like the glossy painted black tips though... The tips need to be replaced to allow for chalking.

These pool cues are very short. Apparently I didn't read the length in the description correctly, because they are child sized not adult sized. Or are made for very short or tight barroom tables. And it's a shame because they are very well made and straight, with good tips. So although I wanted to give them 4 Stars, I'm only going to give them 3. But if the length is what you need, these would make excellent cues.

I ordered these cue sticks to replace some older small cue sticks that we had for the little ones to be able to play. However, these cue sticks are healthier, as in they weigh more and have a greater diameter than the previous ones. These cue sticks (measuring 36 inches long) are also a little longer than our previous ones. Of course, the little ones use these when they play, but the adults will use these as well when they have a shot that requires a shorter cue stick. These straight cue sticks are beautifully crafted and have been a great addition and improvement in our gaming room.

I really like these, as they have a very good "feel" in your hands, and a nice weight to them. Although the weight is primarily towards the base, and it gets lighter towards the tip. So I believe these are shorter than normal billiard sticks...as those maintain more weight throughout....this is shorter, so it feels lighter towards the tip and is likely not as heavy as a full sized stick. But it does still feel quite nice in your hand, has a nice glossy finish, and would be very useful for kids or anyone who doesn't like super-long sticks. The only other negative is the end of it feels a little different than how I recall professional billiard sticks feeling. Instead of the rubbery feeling at the end, where you apply the chalk, it feels sortof hollow or lighter and lesser quality there. But overall...these are pretty good sticks, that will be useful for a number of scenarios, but they are not the size and quality of normal large billiard sticks.

Remember that Seinfeld episode where George's dad bought a full sized pool table and tried to use it in a tiny bedroom? Yep, holes in the wall and all that stuff. Well, these short little cues might have solved the problem. I got them to use in tight spaces and while they work fine for that purpose, they are by no means cues you want to use all the time. In fact, most of the crappy house cues we have in our clubhouse are better than these things. It's a red flag when the manufacturer tells you that professional pool players won't be pleased with these. But. if you need some "disposable" cues for the kids or for a public place where good cues will get stolen, these will work. Also, since they are a little on the short side, if your table is in a tight space, these will work. Otherwise, invest a little more and get yourself some decent sticks.

We have a combination dining table and ping pong/pool table. It’s fun but some of the walls are a bit close for pool. These cues work well in tight spaces. I really like how well they are weighted to help with your shots. Both of ours were straight, and ready to play with. Very nice for the price!
