We have a small above ground pool, and this is a great size hoop for us. It’s great for friendly games. You might have some trouble with it staying up if you have a particularly rowdy bunch or a pool that allows for more splashing/rough water. That said, this is great for what it is. It was very easy to assemble (just blow it up, connect the pieces), it looks fine, and it seems to be good a good quality pool hoop.

This was pretty easy to put together and the kids are absolutely loving it in the pool!! This was a great buy as it comes with basketballs and rings so they have a choice.

We use this in the pool and adults and kids have a blast. For being plastic I wasn't expecting much, but it is solidly made and easy to put together with clear instructions. I do wish there were four basketballs instead of two, but that is my only complaint.

While it's still just cheap plastic, this is the best version of this kind of pool hoop that I've seen from a staying-together standpoint. The pieces fit together very snugly as long as you assemble them properly. At first, I didn't have the pieces pushed all the way in and they fell apart very easily. I then realized you have to push them fully in until they click. I added some super glue also to be sure. The balls are pretty good quality and much more substantial than a flimsy beach ball. The rings are very lightweight and cheap but they float so they won't get lost at the bottom.
