after having the original power supply for years it finally gave out on me and couldn't power my xbox, but now having this power supply for over a year now its been working perfectly and i have now issues with it!

I am writing this as this morning I woke up and noticed that my ponker power supply (this product) that I bought in 2020 (4 years ago) after 3 power surges unfortunately it overheated the unit and caused the thermal paste to go everywhere in the unit (none of the paste leaked out, picture attached of internals). Overall I bought this back in 2020 hoping it would last a while seeing as most reviews said it worked but the fan was loud. I purchased it and got a model that was very quiet! I could barely hear the fan. Now as it is 2024 I guess it ran it's course and fought till the end. I think for the price, it lasted 4 years of consistent gaming for my xbox. It's a great product. Such a good product that I just bought a replacement one since the old one is dead. I hope to get a constant product and will attempt to update on how quality is after 4 years

It did have a pretty loud fan but nothing I couldn't deal with or that was super annoying. I played almost daily for hours since I bought it and lasted for exactly 20 months. I will say we had something funny go on with my power going on and off a couple times in 20 minutes and MAYBE was the reason it stopped working but it DID work after this happened for about a week then just stopped so idk. I guess for the price it's not terrible but sad it didn't last longer.

The media could not be loaded. My Xbox One power supply crapped out on me. I tried resetting it using the methods that Microsoft and Xbox recommended and they did not work. After unplugging the power supply for the recommended amount of time and plugging it back into the wall outlet I would get a steady orange light. Then when I would plug it back into the console, the light would go out with a soft click. Today I bought this power supply after great consideration and as of now, my Xbox is on and updating. The power brick is half the weight of the original one that comes with the console. I can hear the fan but it is not as loud as the original power supply. I would recommend this item versus going to GameStop and buying a refurbished one for $50. Update: After using this for a few days I can say with certainty I'm very content with this item. The fan isn't roaring over the TV and my Xbox is up and running smoothly. Thank you for offering this item to us gamers for a decent price and a quick fix.

Works fine for my XBOX ONE console original model from 2015. I plan to swap out the cable that came with it into the box for a grounded cable (any computer comes with this cable). But it has been working fine for the last 6 weeks with no issues so far.
