The POMORON (MJ005H) True HEPA Air Purifier is a great little unit. It advertises that it covers an area of up to 1076 sqft. It has touch panel controls for fan speed, auto mode, timer indicator, screen display on/off and a HEPA filter reset button. It has an air quality sensor that provides a visual indicator via blue (very good), yellow (moderate) and red (poor) lights. It also provides a PM2.5 (particulate matter) reading which is essentially a scale for measuring real-time air quality. When looking up information on the Web, Its values vary from 0 to 500, but I'm not certain on the range it covers within this unit. Over the last few weeks my experience with this purifier has been very good. I keep it running one of my 10x10 foot bedrooms and it seem to be doing a very good job. Granted, the air quality in my house isn't poor but we do accumulate a lot of dust. The unit runs very smooth and quiet when on the lowest speeds. When you ramp up the fan it's very audible, but not annoying. I do like that it has a good HEPA filter installed but a pre-filter screen would have been a nice added feature to collect larger debris before getting to the HEPA filter. My daughter is very susceptible to allergies and this purifier seems to be helping with that having it in her room. Time will tell on how well this purifier is performing long term. Right now it seems to be doing very well and I'm happy with the product. The price point is very good considering I see it often with significant discounts associated with it. The Pomoron MJ005H is a relatively quiet air purifier with easy to use controls. Changing the filter is less cumbersome than it is on my Levoit units. I am skeptical about the claims that this model is for large rooms up to 1076 ft. While perusing the manual, there is no information provided regarding the amount of space that this purifier will be effective at cleaning. I have no way of testing this but it's a fairly small unit. It's not much larger, noisier or seemingly more powerful than my Levoit Core 300 that is rated for 220 sq ft. Nor is there any information in the manual regarding the product having a UV-C light as advertised in the listing. Without tearing the unit apart, I don't know where this feature exists on the unit, nor is there any control or button function to operate any such feature. I find it strange that none of the information provided on the seller's listing is included in the manual as far as air purification claims go. The cabinet and styling of this purifier is attractive and streamlined. I like that there is a digital display that gives real time air quality readings of the room I'm using it in. The cord is sufficiently long enough to be able to place the unit some distance from your outlet. I prefer to keep mine displayed upon furniture so it's not picking up all the pet hair or dirt from the floor and clogging my filters quicker. As far as filter replacements go, those listed in the Pomoron store on Amazon run around $25 a piece, which is within standard price range for replacement filters. However, I prefer to purchase less expensive non-OEM replacements and have been unable to find any for this particular unit. If Pomoron ceases to exist and there is no other method of obtaining replacement filters, this unit will be useless. There may be workarounds by cutting larger filters down to size but that may affect any sensors that are inside the unit that turn the unit off when the filter is not placed properly. After the discounts, this is a slick unit with good features for a decent price. At full price of $79 at the time of this review, it may not be a good value if you are unable to find replacement filters beyond a few months or years. ... show more

This is a very nice, quiet and efficient air purifier. It uses a three-layer filter that starts with a pre-filter, then a True HEPA-13 filter and finally a carbon fiber filter layer. This ensures that particulates of up to 0.3 microns will be retained while the carbon fiber will eliminate odors. The filter is ultra-quiet and you can turn off the panel lights. I have placed it in my bedroom, in auto mode, and it is hard to say that there is an air purifier working there as you cannot hear it nor see any lights when the panel lights are turned off. The air purifier has dust sensors that will constantly measure the air quality and will display it color-coded it as follows: blue means good air quality; yellow means moderate air quality and, red means poor air quality. This is based on particulate matter (PM) 2.5 (I strongly suggest the reader to Google it). I always leave mine in auto mode so that it will automatically determine the fan speed based on air quality. Finally, it also has a UV light to help sterilize the air of harmful bacteria. I am very happy with this air purifier which is simple to use, quiet and very efficient.
