I added these to my 2005 Road Glide. I had to trim the tabs to fit. I also needed to trim the "basket" that the speakers reside in to allow the magnet room. I also finished up with a bit of silicone to complete the waterproofing. Now that they are installed, dude, these are sweet for 5x7 speakers. The bass is evident as well. Nice and crisp sounding.     • These 5x7 speakers are jamming pretty well.
I mounted these speakers on my Harley saddle bags that have speaker lids. I had to trim off most of the mounting tabs to get them to fit in the slots on the bag lids. This was due to the design of the lids. The speakers are not completely compatible with the kids. The magnets on these speakers are also larger than others, so I had to Dremel off part of the speaker frame to get the magnets to fit. It worked out really well though. I hooked these speakers up to a 4 channel Boss blue tooth amp in place of two of the 4 bullet speakers that cam e with the amp. These 5 x 7 s' added a little bass to the system. ... show more

I blew an older model Polk speaker. I bought this pair and they are working great. Sound awesome. They bolted right up as a direct replacement. I recommend buying the pigtails to not cut your factory harness.

Put these in my hard leather saddle bags. Equalizer brings out decent bass and the sound is clear. You can’t get great out of saddle bags, but it’s pretty good. I covered with stainless steel plates that I got from Amazon, wrapped the edge with door edge guard. Very pleased.

I used these on my Harley, so there is way too much background noise to judge (or care) about hi-fi quality. They sound decent top me, and were a definite boost on the highway.
