  • Same original quality. Smaller footprint.
Good discounted price, same Audiocontrol quality. Stinger/Aamp owns Audiocontrol now so this is coming from a reputable source. This really helps add a low end to music recordings that don't have much sub bass. Remember less is more don't crank the effect too much or it starts sound like an earthquake lol. ... show more

  • Awesome product
Loc and epicenter in one device.Genius!! Installed in a Tesla model Y which already has an outstanding audio system. Added a 750 watt rms amp with 2 10 inch subs, brought that deep lower end that was lacking. Awesome product

  • I used it for about a month
First time epicenter user, here. I was going to buy a regular epicenter and a LC2i pro, and discovered this and bought it instead. This product is almost like a regular epicenter and LC1i combined, and has just a tiny bit more functions like a remote that has both audio level control and the amount of epicenter. So, the bottom line. I used it for about a month and tried around 1000 songs from all different genres. For example, Led Zepplin's babe I'm gonna leave you has no bass, but with epicenter, it's pretty darn cool. It's really awesome. No amount of EQ can do what epicenter can. Some of the songs with very little bass like radio head stuff, epicenter really brings out the bass. Even Jewel stuff can have bass. lol. But, here's the thing. Epicenter is very song specific. If you leave epicenter on and you leave your stereo on random, and when a rap song comes on when the epicenter is engaged, you could easily blow out your sub. A lot of the songs, if you don't set the sweep and wide "correctly", the bass can sound really flabby. But even if you just play an album, every song in the album can have different amount of bass, and you could blow your sub. I was always fiddling with the remote dial when a new song came on. Also, the dial. You gotta turn the dial almost always 3/4th of the way to hear the epicenter working. If you go too far, you could blow your sub, and if you don't turn enough, you can barely hear any improvement. So, the line out converter quality is excellent. The bass sounds very clean. But this thing almost feels like a very expensive clean line out converter, with bass recreation function for a very few specific songs, imo. When it works, though, it's pretty cool. I did tap the both front door speakers for the full range feed, and used a monoblock with one 12 inch in a sealed box. It took many days to dial in the sweep and wide just right for my songs. It was PIA to adjust it b/c it required so many trips going back and forth from the front of the car to the trunk. I really think they should've added another dual dial in the remote that can adjust the sweep and wide. That would've been perfect. I still don't think I experimented enough with the sweep and wide for some songs, but I just gave up and left it the way it is. FOr example, if you set the wide all the way to the right, it covers pretty much all songs, but you only get boomy bass, not tight bass. I was actually hoping to hear the upright bass(the instrument) a lot louder, or maybe hear the bass player in rock songs louder, but epicenter doesn't work that way. Overall, it's a pretty cool product. But feels a little too expensive. It's like that option you got in your car that you hardly ever use, but when you need it, it's pretty cool to have it. ... show more
