I needed a smaller handheld flashlight that was longer because I walked outside my house a lot to check to turn on Christmas lights. It fits so good in my hand and isn't one of those short things that you can't grasp well. My husband opened the package to put it all together and just handed it to me. I can't tell you how many times I have used this light and it has helped so much it's bright and I don't even drop it. It's been amazing. Then, I went to use it and the batteries died. They lasted for over a year! I went to change them thinking it was going to take some penny batteries which I was going to have to dig out and much to my surprise, they are double A batteries! I quickly took the 2 old ones out and put the 2 new ones in and I was on my way again. I highly recommend this flashlight. The media could not be loaded. Overall a good flashlight. It comes with batteries. It is easy to use. I purchased this for my seven year-old daughter for her Girl Scouts camping trip y it was perfect. The brightness of the light is good. You turn it on by a button on the bottom (see vídeo).

Very bright light, great for intended purpose (chasing coons in middle of night at pond). I’ve found many other great uses for it and considering buying more as gifts. Great for a single lady moving in the dark to shine in someone’s face!!!!

UPDATE.... UPDATE... UPDATE For some reason this flashlight gets hot if used longer than 5 minutes. I bought this with the intentions of using it when I take my little Yorkie for walks after dark!! I've ONLY been able to use it once and ONLY ONCE because of how hot the unit had gotten. The review below was written BEFORE I had a chance to actually put it to use. What I said about it being very bright, lightweight and comfortable to hold is all true. But I'm not about to use nor recommend this flashlight because of how hot it gets when used... I'm not sure if I just got a defective one or if all of these act this way. So right now I CAN NOT recommend... I needed a new light to take with me when I walk my little Yorkie at night. I've been buying the lights you can charge up the unit but they all turned out to be NOT worth my money. I found this little jewel last night ordered it and was surprised to see it was delivered today!! It's so lightweight and will fit perfectly in the little bag I carry with his potty supplies 😁.
